The Dak Prescott contract extension we waited all offseason for was completed right before the Cowboys beat the Browns on Sunday. Now that it's finished, what does Dak need to do during the lifetime of this deal for it to be considered a success? K&C discuss in the video above.

00:00What needs to be accomplished for the DAC deal to be a success?
00:22My bonus question is going to be, is it no more, no less, as simple as this?
00:28Win a Super Bowl, I accept.
00:31Don't win a Super Bowl, it's a failure.
00:34That's where I am.
00:35Okay.
00:36And I probably am not saying that, you know, obviously this is hypothetical, not saying
00:40that last year.
00:41And I'm not saying that with the last contract, I mean, because the last contract was, he
00:47was still young and learning and going through some things.
00:49I know we had him as a rookie and everything, but now he's paid and all that.
00:52And I was like, all right, go win football games and hey, we want you to win a Super
00:57Bowl.
00:58As a fan, we really want this.
00:59We want you to show the success, the work that you put in.
01:03If you are really that leader that everybody on the team says that you are, then yeah,
01:09that's why a lot of it's going to fall back upon you whenever you fail to get there, whenever
01:13you fail to get even close to it.
01:16So that's why that comes back at you.
01:18And you can say it's unfair.
01:19I think DAC understands the role of the quarterback in Dallas, Arlington, Fort Worth, all the
01:25areas around here.
01:27I think he understands that, but this now is, all right, they have paid you and Jerry
01:32talked about it with Sean and RJ and Bobby and Peyton and Carter this morning.
01:37He about it.
01:38Yes.
01:39I've added Carter to the mix.
01:41That is one of those things that you're looking at saying, that's what you want.
01:45And they paid you because of your leadership, because they believe you're the type of quarterback
01:50that can do it.
01:51And you believe you can do it within this window as well.
01:54So no, Kevin, NFC championship is no longer the status for that because there's, if the
02:02contract ends and that's as far as you've got, then that wasn't what you expected in
02:08this window.
02:09And he could potentially be done as a quarterback in the NFL at that point.
