Colombia seizes illegal fishing boat in Pacific Ocean

The Colombian Navy has seized an Ecuadorian boat in the Colombian Pacific involved in illegal fishing and transporting protected and endangered species. The boat was caught carrying five hammerhead, silky and blackfin sharks; 13 sailfish and four marlins; 11 tuna; and six dorado.

Three fishermen were apprehended for operating without permits in foreign territory.
