SEA PATROL

The BRP Capones (MRRV-4404) and the BRP Sindangan (MRRV-4407) of the Philippine Coast Guard patrol the West Philippine Sea to ensure the security and safety of Filipino fishermen. Part of their patrol is in Bajo de Masinloc in Zambales where on July 14, 2021, they launched #BayanihanSaKaragatan by providing relief supplies like rice and canned goods to fishermen in the area. At the same time, PCG personnel take time out to talk to the fishers and find out how they were doing. The PCG reported that it has, so far, not been abused or harassed during its patrol of the West Philippine Sea.
