00:00Good afternoon from Pag-asa Weather Forecasting Center.

00:03This is our update on the weather for the next 24 hours.

00:09Earlier this afternoon, we were monitoring a low-pressure area

00:13here in Sulu Sea.

00:15Our latest location as of 3 p.m. today

00:18is here in the coastal waters of Cuyo in Palawan.

00:24Now, we did not expect that this low-pressure area will become a storm

00:29However, this afternoon and until tomorrow,

00:32we will experience cloudy weather and heavy rains

00:37that will affect the entire Visayas,

00:40the entire area of Mimaropa, Calabarzon, Bicol Region,

00:45and also Metro Manila.

00:47So, for those who have mentioned this location,

00:49especially this area of Palawan and this section of Eastern Visayas,

00:53let's be prepared and be alert to storms and landslides

00:58because this afternoon and until tomorrow,

01:00we will continue to experience heavy rains.

01:04Because of the easterlies or the hot winds from the Pacific Ocean,

01:08we will also experience high chances of thunderstorms and rains

01:12here in the entire Mindanao.

01:14For extreme northern Luzon, in the Batanes and Mamuyan Islands,

01:17because of the northeasterly wind flow

01:20or the wind coming from the north coast,

01:22we will also experience thunderstorms and rains.

01:26In most parts of Luzon,

01:28this area of Mainland Northern Luzon and Central Luzon

01:32will continue to be exposed to hot and windy weather,

01:36but there are still chances of short-term rains

01:38caused by localized thunderstorms.

01:42For tomorrow's weather here in Luzon,

01:46the rains brought by the low-pressure area

01:49here in Metro Manila, Calabarzon,

01:51and some areas of Mimaropa,

01:53Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon,

01:57the rains will decrease here.

01:58So starting tomorrow,

02:00we will experience improving weather conditions

02:03in the mentioned areas.

02:05Meanwhile, the rains and thunderstorms

02:10brought by the easterlies or the wind

02:12coming from the Pacific Ocean

02:14will continue here in the Bicol region.

02:17The rains brought by the northeasterly wind flow

02:20will continue here in the Batanes and Mabuhay Islands

02:22and we will experience hot and windy weather

02:25for Northern Luzon, Central Luzon,

02:27as well as Metro Manila, Calabarzon,

02:29and the inland areas of Mimaropa.

02:34In the areas of Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao,

02:38the central section of Visayas

02:40as well as the central and western portions of Mindanao

02:44will experience improving weather conditions tomorrow.

02:47We will also experience low-pressure areas

02:50in the areas of Palawan, Western Visayas,

02:55and the Negros Island region.

02:58Because of the easterlies,

02:59the chances of heavy rains

03:01will continue here in the eastern Visayas,

03:04Karaga, and Davao regions.

03:06So here in the central Visayas,

03:08Zamboanga Peninsula,

03:09in the northern part of Mindanao,

03:11BARMM and SOC-SARGEN

03:13will continue to experience hot and windy weather

03:16but we will not experience rain.

03:18There will still be isolated rain showers

03:21or localized thunderstorms,

03:23especially in the afternoon and evening.

03:26In the area of Karagatan,

03:28there will be no gale warning.

03:30But we will still have to be careful

03:32with our fellow fishermen,

03:34especially here in the seaboards of Northern Luzon

03:36because we will still be able to experience

03:38moderate to severe weather there.

03:44for Monday to Wednesday,

03:46a large part of Luzon

04:36in the morning until noon,

04:38in the rain,

04:40in the afternoon until night.

04:43In the area of Mindanao,

04:45in the northern portion of Mindanao in particular,

04:48Metro Davao and Zamboanga,

04:50a large part of the Zamboanga Peninsula,

04:52will experience moderate to severe weather conditions.

04:55That will be accompanied by scattered rain showers,

04:57gales and thunderstorms,

04:59as well as the easterly winds

05:01coming from the Pacific Ocean.

05:03For the rest of Mindanao,

05:04we will experience hot weather conditions

05:06so we advise our fellow citizens

05:08for the coming days,

05:10especially the senior citizens

05:12or those with existing medical conditions.

05:16we should avoid outdoor activities

05:18in the morning until noon

05:20because this is the time period

05:24high maximum temperatures within the day.
