00:00Made in Italy, the Vespucci Tour for the first time in Tokyo.
00:20The MUTTI Group, the goal is to consolidate the growth in Italy and abroad.
00:25Paralympics, a message of inclusion.
00:29Made in Italy takes off from Tokyo, aboard the Amerigo Vespucci,
00:33a sailboat and naval school that for the first time in its 93 years of history reaches Japan.
00:40The boat, saved from the port of Genoa on July 1, 2023,
00:44is engaged in a world tour that takes off through 28 countries and 5 continents.
00:49During the world tour, on board the ship,
00:52the traditional training activity of the official students is carried out,
00:56accompanied for the first time by the promotion of the excellence of Made in Italy.
01:00As in Los Angeles, it was also inaugurated in the Japanese capital and the Italian village.
01:06Which brings to Tokyo a small piece of what Italy is,
01:11of art, culture, food, wine, technology, design.
01:18A very small piece.
01:21As well as a small piece of culture,
01:24our friends of the band bring it,
01:28who will also be here when Italy participates in the Universal Expo.
01:36Tokyo is the 21st stage of the world tour.
01:39There are more than 400 people on board the Vespucci,
01:43engaged in the extraordinary business of the world tour,
01:46which will end in February 2025.
01:49The crew exceeds 400 people and is a whole crew.
01:53It is a very intense relationship that has developed in recent months.
01:59I did not start the world tour, I reached the ship in Cartagena de Indias,
02:03but I almost got to two years.
02:05I would like to say that in addition to these more than 400 people,
02:09there are at least another 400 on the other side.
02:13Each of us has at least one affection,
02:15and therefore this is also the strength of our crew.
02:18It is an enlarged crew that reaches Italy.
02:21Among the Italian excellences is the Italian Open Academy,
02:25of the teacher Riccardo Muti,
02:27the musicians of the Teatro La Scala Academy,
02:30the Italian cinema in collaboration with the International Expo
02:33of the Venice Biennale of Cinema,
02:35the iconic Italian wines,
02:37in collaboration with Verona Fieri Vintali and much more.
02:40Here we are in a four-floor location,
02:46with a village made up of 22,000 square meters,
02:50therefore well over 12,000 of the village of Los Angeles,
02:54and at the same time, in these 22,000 square meters,
02:59we have realized that concentration of Italianness
03:03with which many represent us and distinguish us.
03:10Continuing to grow both in Italy and abroad
03:14is the goal of the Muti group,
03:16leaders in Europe in the market of tomato derivatives.
03:19What our leadership does at the national level
03:22is continuing to grow.
03:23The most beautiful thing is really to see
03:25how even the Italian consumer
03:27constantly knows how to recognize quality.
03:31The tomato is a product that must be valued.
03:35To date, export has become the predominant part for us.
03:40We are talking about Italy,
03:42although it continues to grow,
03:44it is worth about 42% of our turnover
03:49against about 58% of exports.
03:53We are now traveling 60-40%
03:56between sales outside the homeland,
04:00the Italian market, and abroad.
04:05Abroad, which sees the first big center in Europe,
04:10but today we are leaders in a country like Australia
04:14and we are the first Italian brand sold in the United States,
04:18a market in which we are investing,
04:20a very large market that takes years to be built
04:26according to our standards,
04:28so the possibility of bringing the excellence of Made in Italy
04:32is one of our goals today.
04:38The Paralympics are an opportunity to spread a new perception
04:41of the sport practiced by people with disabilities.
04:44It is the message launched by Paralympic athlete Daniele Cassioli,
04:47committed to the front of inclusion.
04:49Finally, it is the hot moment for Paralympic sport
04:53and therefore a big, big word of mouth
04:56to all the athletes committed to Paris 2024.
05:00We are with you, Forza Azzurri,
05:02and a big word of mouth also to the technicians,
05:04to the sports leaders,
05:06and many congratulations to the Paralympic Committee,
05:09because in these years we have really done a job
05:12thanks to which the perception of Paralympic sport
05:15and sport in general practiced by people with disabilities
05:19has really changed.
05:21So I am very happy, even in my small way,
05:24to represent this movement that can give a lot
05:28to those who go directly to the races,
05:31to the athletes, to those who live this immense gratification,
05:34but it can also give a lot to others,
05:36because how many times Paralympic athletes
05:38are an inspiration for other young people with disabilities
05:42who may still live a little pain,
05:45the struggle for disability,
05:47and lose sight of the potential
05:49that even a body, let's say,
05:51a little defective, can still give.
05:54Then they are an inspiration for everyone,
05:56I often hear me say,
05:58we complain about the little things,
06:00and instead, look at what you are able to do,
06:03so a general inspiration.
06:05And on top of that, it must also be a bit of a warning,
06:07because we can all work to make sure
06:10that the stories of people with disabilities
06:13who go to the Paralympics
06:14become a little representative.
06:16The road is still long,
06:18but everyone can make their contribution.
06:20Even today, in our country, in 2024,
06:22many people with disabilities do not work,
06:25struggle to find a context of friendship,
06:28struggle to find a social fabric
06:30that somehow helps to improve their quality of life.
06:34And so, for the most part, in these days
06:36when disability is often visible
06:39on the front page of newspapers,
06:41we reflect on what each of us can do,
06:43in the professional world,
06:45in companies, in the world of school,
06:48in the world of our civil society,
06:50to help this process of inclusion
06:53that allows everyone,
06:55regardless of their starting characteristics,
06:57to show what they are able to do,
07:00to express themselves,
07:01to be able to assert themselves
07:03and find their own space,
07:04also in this society.
07:06Forza Azzurri!
07:07A hug and good Paralympic sport to everyone!
07:19Forza Azzurri
07:20Forza Azzurri
