00:03Jonah, how do you feel just about the way the offense performed today relative to
00:07kind of what you'd seen from the group throughout camp?
00:10A lot to learn, and today was gonna make this our worst game.
00:14So I'm looking forward to getting in the major rounds and
00:16throwing them, correct a couple things.
00:19But for the most part, my support got away with the win, so we'll celebrate that.
00:26How much did the offensive line kind of combinations,
00:28it looked like they changed some things up in that second quarter, and
00:31it led to your touchdown drive.
00:33Did that play a role at all?
00:34And kind of how do you assess the blockers in front of you today?
00:37Whoever's in there is gonna do a good job, I wanna pay attention to the personnel.
00:41Whatever change coach makes, he makes, and we're gonna play regardless.
00:47Alphonso, you seem to be lining up all over the place in different positions in
00:51the backfield quite a bit.
00:53Can you maybe describe and define how your position this year and
00:57how they're using you differs from last year?
01:00Yeah, this is more of a versatile, I'm off the ball a little bit more.
01:04I'm more on the ball than I was last year, but
01:06I'm still playing a good amount of off the ball back here, so.
01:09It's pretty cool to have that part of my arsenal and showing my coaches and
01:14obviously have my teammates.
01:16Mark can help them in different ways, but our team will be good, so.
01:19So you gave up three points, which obviously that speaks for itself.
01:22In terms of just feeling the game,
01:25how would you assess how this defense played tonight based on what your
01:29expectations were?
01:30First game, the time is just evaluated, really just first time for everything.
01:36Like Jonah said, it's gonna be our worst game moving forward.
01:39We have a lot of things to clean up, but we gotta celebrate the win.
01:42It's hard to get a win, especially in this league, college football.
01:46So we're gonna celebrate that and come in tomorrow and find out what our coaches and
01:50communicate on what we gotta work on as a defense, but great team win for me.

01:57Just how important was it to you, some of the other Arizona guys,
01:59to make sure he started off here on the right foot of the wing?
02:03I was just trusting him, not focused on what happened last year,
02:08and where everybody came from, just worried about the people that's in
02:12the locker room, the people that's suiting up, going on that,
02:16the 11 guys that's going out there, really just focus on that.
02:19Just having tunnel vision, counts a lot harder than it really does,
02:23just focus on us, it's great.
