00:00It's me just with the football IQ.
00:02I was like, they're gonna, cuz he was like, you can throw it to DeMond too.
00:05But the DM hooked on DeMond.
00:07I was like, okay, I'm gonna just run up like, if there's all I said,
00:10if all else fails, just look back and I'll be wide open and throw it.
00:14When was the last time you saw that much green in front of you?
00:16Probably the two scrimmages ago.
00:23Had some pretty big calls and stuff like that, or watched it.
00:26So I would say, you guys know.
00:29How many practice reps did you and Carson get in with that throw, or
00:32that pitching and catching in general?
00:33Was that ever- That was the first time.
00:35That was the first time we repped that.
00:38We walked through it, but he didn't throw it to me.
00:41We walked through it, and the way Coach KC was making the saves,
00:45like we're not running it.
00:46And we needed a big play, and Coach said, all right, we're just gonna do it.
00:51Let's have fun with it.
00:53When you have fun, who knows what can happen?
00:56You've been around Coach Frisch on the state of Arizona.
00:58How much different is the program?
00:59And speaking to that kind of fun element up here in Washington,
01:01is it kind of the same vibe to where he just likes to keep it kind of fun and
01:04fresh and do things like that?
01:07I feel like it's no different.
01:09Obviously, it's different meeting different people.
01:12But everybody here wants to win.
01:14And I can say that it felt the same at Arizona.
01:17Everyone wanted to win, and that's why we won.
01:20Coming here off the season that they had last year, I feel like we ain't done yet.
01:26Yeah, they lost the national championship, but we ain't done yet.
01:30So the sky's the limit for us.
01:33Our goal is just to get better every day.
01:35Coach just said this is a team of competitors.
01:37You love competition.
01:38But today you were able to have that throw, and
01:40then when Grady takes that last second kick, you have everyone come on the field.
01:43So what does it say for the current, I guess the camaraderie and
01:47the trust in this team that you kind of let yourself have fun in these games?
01:51You just never know when you're gonna be in a situation like that.
01:54I watched a couple creaks that Grady made last year in some pretty big games.
01:59And one of the biggest games was the Washington State game.
02:02It's just being prepared for your moment.
02:04You never know when it's gonna be your time or your shot.
02:07So we try to put ourselves in game-like situations.
02:11And the other team may not be on the field, but
02:15if it's an away game, it's gonna feel like that.
02:17It's gonna feel like they all right there.
02:19It's gonna feel like they right there.
02:20So just put ourself in a situation that we may be in.
02:25And.
