00:00 - Matt Bream, 24/7 Sports.
00:01 Bo, just that first quarter,
00:02 it was so hard for the offense to get going.
00:04 Just what wasn't working for you guys?
00:07 - Well, I think, you know, they were just really good.
00:10 And when you look at it, we didn't really get a first down.
00:13 We didn't get a momentum play.
00:15 And then, you know, in the second quarter, we finally did.
00:17 And we started to move the ball a little bit better.
00:19 But I just thought the explosive plays
00:21 weren't there for us tonight.
00:23 - Bo, Willie Ramirez with the Associated Press.
00:28 It was very visible how tough this loss was.
00:31 I was watching you from upstairs, towel over your head.
00:34 You took some time to yourself
00:35 and then you beelined it right for Michael.
00:38 Can you just take us through the process of just,
00:40 you know, the collective thoughts,
00:42 sitting there, making your way across,
00:44 a lot of poise to go across in the middle of his interview
00:47 and congratulate him, I assume.
00:49 Just walk us through that, if you would, please.
00:51 - Yeah, well, football's a tough game
00:53 and sometimes you put it all out there
00:54 and you come up short.
00:57 And, you know, there at the end,
00:59 it was just one of those things
01:00 where you want the moment to last longer than what it can.
01:04 And just, even though we lost,
01:07 it was one of those type of games
01:09 that it was really fun to play in.
01:10 And, you know, it was just, you know, a shocking end.
01:15 It's tough when you're so used to go, go, go, go, go,
01:18 to where when it ends, it's like,
01:20 it just happens very quickly.
01:22 And, you know, I got all the respect in the world
01:24 for Michael and, you know,
01:27 he's played his butt off this year.
01:30 I respect him a lot because I know how it is
01:32 to play through some adversity,
01:34 to play when you're not necessarily feeling your best.
01:36 And he showed up tonight and he did a really good job
01:39 of making the explosive play when he needed it.
01:42 And that just shows, you know, what kind of team they are.
01:45 They battled in a lot of games down the stretch
01:47 and they pulled them all out.
01:49 And so that's a really good football team.
01:51 And I think that's what sometimes hurts
01:54 when you put it all out there and it's still not good enough.
