00:00What does it mean to you to be from Stockton, because obviously you touched on it, it's hard to explain, but if you could encapsulate it in words, what does it mean to you to put on for Stockton?
00:07It's the trife, you know, it's tough. Not many people make it out there. It's really two choices out there. It's the gangs, you know, or go to jail.
00:15And I don't like to make it seem like that's the only two choices, you know, but very few make it and go to college just because the environment, the lack of exposure that we have to get people out.
00:29But I am proud to say that, you know, it's a bunch of young athletes out there now that are getting scholarships and, you know, going on the right path.
00:38And I feel like me, my class being young and traveling around, we were blessed.
00:46I played with a 7-on-7 team called Team Elevate and Vince Carter and Ryan Walker and Coach Rob and Coach Roy.
00:57Just being able and Coach Green, you know, having those guys around us, they made it happen for us to travel different places like Indianapolis.
01:05I didn't end up coming, but like Vegas, L.A., just getting our name on the map.
01:11Atlanta, places like that where it was a lot of scouts around. And I feel like we brought a lot of attention to the city of Stockton.
01:20So a lot of players out there are getting offers, getting recognized.
01:25Kenneth Moore, he's a little cousin of mine. He's going crazy right now.
01:30Jordan Thomas, he took over my position at Lincoln when I left.
01:36My little brother just got his first offer, Corey Waters.
01:40It's been great just seeing all the young guys and stuff get offers from over there.
01:44You know, it's all I ever wanted. You know, I always wanted to bring a light on Stockton.
01:49Jordan, I got a lot of easy questions for you. All easy ones, man.
01:52Yeah.
