జాతీయ ఉత్తమ ఉపాధ్యాయుడి 'మిషన్ 100'
Sampath Kumar Teacher Select National Teacher Award : గ్రామీణ ప్రాంత విద్యార్థులను ఆవిష్కర్తలుగా తీర్చిదిద్దాలనే లక్ష్యంతో మిషన్ 100కు టీచర్ సంపత్ కుమార్ శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు. ఆ యజ్ఞంలో భాగంగా ఇప్పటికే 53 మందిని ఆవిష్కర్తలుగా తయారు చేశారు. 8 అంతర్జాతీయ, 16 జాతీయ, 30కి పైగా రాష్ట్రస్థాయి పురస్కారాలు పొందారు. జాతీయ బాలల సైన్స్‌ కాంగ్రెస్‌లో 2018 నుంచి 2023 వరకు వరుసగా స్వర్ణ పతకాలు గెలుచుకున్నారు. గ్లోబల్‌ ఇన్నోవేటివ్‌ ఇండెక్స్‌లో దేశాన్ని మొదటిస్థానంలో నిలిపేందుకు సంపత్‌కుమార్‌ కృషి చేస్తున్నారు.
బెంగళూరు ఇండియన్‌ ఇనిస్టిట్యూట్‌ ఆఫ్‌ సైన్స్‌లో విద్యనభ్యసించి ఇస్రోలో శాస్త్రవేత్త కావాలనుకున్నారు. ఆ అవకాశం దక్కకపోవడం వల్ల ఉపాధ్యాయుడిగా స్థిరపడ్డారు. తాను శాస్త్రవేత్త కాలేకపోయినప్పటికీ విద్యార్థులను ఆవిష్కర్తలుగా మార్చాలనే సంకల్పంతో నిరంతరం పరిశ్రమిస్తున్నారు. ఆ ఉపాధ్యాయుడి అవిరళ కృషికి జాతీయ ఉత్తమ ఉపాధ్యాయుడు పురస్కారం లభించింది. టీచర్ వృత్తి కేవలం ఉద్యోగంలా కాకుండా అభిరుచితో విద్యార్థులతో ఆవిష్కరణలు చేయిస్తున్నందుకు జాతీయ స్థాయి గుర్తింపు దక్కిందని సంపత్‌కుమార్‌ సంతోషం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
బెంగళూరు ఇండియన్‌ ఇనిస్టిట్యూట్‌ ఆఫ్‌ సైన్స్‌లో విద్యనభ్యసించి ఇస్రోలో శాస్త్రవేత్త కావాలనుకున్నారు. ఆ అవకాశం దక్కకపోవడం వల్ల ఉపాధ్యాయుడిగా స్థిరపడ్డారు. తాను శాస్త్రవేత్త కాలేకపోయినప్పటికీ విద్యార్థులను ఆవిష్కర్తలుగా మార్చాలనే సంకల్పంతో నిరంతరం పరిశ్రమిస్తున్నారు. ఆ ఉపాధ్యాయుడి అవిరళ కృషికి జాతీయ ఉత్తమ ఉపాధ్యాయుడు పురస్కారం లభించింది. టీచర్ వృత్తి కేవలం ఉద్యోగంలా కాకుండా అభిరుచితో విద్యార్థులతో ఆవిష్కరణలు చేయిస్తున్నందుకు జాతీయ స్థాయి గుర్తింపు దక్కిందని సంపత్‌కుమార్‌ సంతోషం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
