Srikakulam Youth Shines in Softball : అచ్చం క్రికెట్ను పోలి ఉండే సాఫ్ట్బాల్ క్రీడకు పాశ్చాత్య దేశాల్లో ఆదరణ ఎక్కువ. అలాంటి క్రీడలో తెలుగురాష్ట్రాల క్రీడాకారులు అదరగొడుతున్నారు. చదువుల్లో రాణిస్తూనే ఆటల్లో మెళకువలు నేర్చుకుంటున్నారు. సరైన శిక్షణ, సదుపాయాలు లేకున్నా పాల్గొన్న ప్రతిపోటీల్లో సత్తా చాటుతున్నారు. ఆర్థిక కష్టాలు ఎదుర్కొంటూ ఆటల్లో ఔరా అనిపిస్తున్నారు.
