Shapes and Solids
Use with Chapter 7 of Scott Foresman Addison Wesley MATH
Annie's Aunt Sally has a new job - she's a door-to-door shapes salesperson. The only trouble is she's not sure how to sell all the wonderful balls, boxes, cylinders, prisms, and pyramids in her sales case. Leave it to Annie and Herman to help get Aunt Sally's sales pitch into shape.
How to use this video:
1) Use the video as a fun introduction to the topics, or as reinforcement after the skills have been taught.
2) Throughout this video, children will have opportunities to interact with the characters and practice math skills.
3) When you see this symbol (Jake's Paw Print), hit the pause button on your video tape player. Use this opportunity to discuss answers from your students to the questions posed on the screen. When you resume the tape, the characters will give you the answers.
