Use with Chapter 11 Of Scott Foresman Addison Wesley MATH
Annie can't wait to enter the local art contest. The flyer says, "Turn Junk Into Art," and she's making a necklace. But should she use 1 - 10 pieces of junk, 11 - 20 pieces, or 21 - 30 pieces? With Herman's help, she'll make the most super-duper necklace ever!
How to use this video:
1) Use the video as a fun introduction to the topics, or as reinforcement after the skills have been taught.
2) Throughout this video, children will have opportunities to interact with the characters and practice math skills.
3) When you see this symbol (Jake's Paw Print), hit the pause button on your video tape player. Use this opportunity to discuss answers from your students to the questions posed on the screen. When you resume the tape, the characters will give you the answers.
Each video features a song that will help children remember key concepts.
