Numbers to 10
Use with Chapter 5 with Scott Foresman Addison Wesley MATH
Annie has built a special elevator so Herman can visit the tree house. Herman is so happy that he decides to give Annie a present of 10 beautiful rocks. There's only one problem - 10 rocks are too heavy for the tree house elevator! Herman will have to count to 10 and back to find a way to give Annie his surprise.
How to use this video:
1) Use the video as a fun introduction to the topics, or as reinforcement after the skills have been taught.
2) Throughout this video, children will have opportunities to interact with the characters and practice math skills.
3) When you see this symbol (Jake's Paw Print), hit the pause button on your video tape player. Use this opportunity to discuss answers from your students to the questions posed on the screen. When you resume the tape, the characters will give you the answers.
Each video features a song that will help children remember key concepts.
1 More Thing: Unlike other Mathmatazz videos this one does not have a song so it's a little weird but oh well.
