00:00Well, Eric, I just I mean, let's just unpack the day yesterday, right?
00:04I mean, when you started the day, I mean, expectations for the round.
00:08Did you have a number in your head?
00:09Did you know what you needed to do or just show up?
00:11He said, you know what?
00:12I'm just going to go try to make a bunch of birdies and see where the chips fall.
00:15Yeah, no, it's kind of funny.
00:16I played really poorly on Saturday
00:21and actually did well to shoot two over.
00:22I got a shot way higher than that.
00:24So my expectations were very low.
00:27I Saturday night, I booked a flight home on Sunday afternoon,
00:32so I wasn't wasn't feeling it really.
00:34That's a pro trick.
00:35Yeah, I wasn't wasn't feeling just my ball striking wasn't there.
00:39And then, you know, I mean, obviously I wanted to play well
00:42and I warmed up kind of just OK and then got off to a crazy fast start.
00:46And then once that happened, I was like, all right, now I'm kind of in it.
00:49And, you know, just kept trying to hit one good shot after the next.
00:53And yesterday, what time did you tee off?
00:56I'm seven fifty or something.
01:00So that to me was a fairly big advantage because in the morning
01:05I was out there, there was hardly any wind.
01:07Yes, it was so hot.
01:08But later, as the day went on, I mean, we were getting gas up to 15,
01:1220 miles an hour.
01:13Yeah, I obviously wasn't out there in the afternoon,
01:16but it definitely seemed like the forecast was for it to get windier.
01:20And, you know, it looked like it was playing tougher
01:23later in the day versus when I was there.
01:25Exactly.
01:26We got sort of a detailed sketch of that day.
01:29I think it's worth going through because it's a real roller coaster.
01:32So just for everyone, keep it score home.
01:34Three, three, three to start today.
01:35Yeah, just birdie birdie eagle.
01:37You move from 58th to 52nd on the FedExCup list.
01:41You make a birdie on eight to go from 54th inside to 48th. Right.
01:46So you are your 50th when you make par at 10.
01:49But by the time you get to the 11th tee and put a tee in the ground,
01:52you're back to 52nd.
01:53You're on the outside and birdie at 13.
01:56You go 52nd to 47th birdie at 15,
02:01go 48 to 44 and birdie at 16 to go 45th to 38.
02:05So sitting comfortably inside.
02:07How do we feel after the bogey at 18 to go from 41st to 48?
02:12Yeah, I mean, I didn't know a lot of that stuff going on.
02:14You know, there's some leaderboards out there
02:16and there's some projections that come out.
02:18But like when you're playing, you don't see really
02:22anywhere near that type of volatility.
02:25So I obviously knew that I was doing good stuff.
02:28I was making birdies.
02:29And every time I looked at it, it seemed to be getting a little better.
02:33And then, you know, bogeying 18 wasn't what I had in mind.
02:37But with the tee shot, I think I did well to do that.
