00:36As of 8.16pm, unofficial results indicated that Mohammad Azmawi had secured 9,113 votes,
00:44while past candidate Mohammad Rizwadi Ismail, representing Perikatan, had garnered 5,741
00:51votes, with all 47 voting channels counted.
00:55Voter turnout was recorded at over 71% as of 4pm, which the Election Commission noted
01:02was higher than the 61.09% recorded during last year's state elections.
01:08Mohammad Azmawi's victory means Barisan has secured its third seat in the Kelantan State
01:13Assembly, while the remaining 42 out of 45 seats are held by Perikatan.
01:19This marks the first by-election since the 15th general election, in which the incumbent

01:26The Nengeri by-election was called after the seat was declared vacant on June 19, following
