00:00As long as Patrick Mahomes is healthy and Hunter's center, they're going to do a lot
00:06of damage in 2024.
00:07If we look at those seasonal props for Patrick Mahomes, touchdown passes, passing yards,
00:12will he be the touchdown leader?
00:14The yardage leader?
00:15Does anything stick out to you as an opportunity?
00:17Because the one thing we do know, it's very hard for the betting public to say, you know
00:21what?
00:22Let me just take an under on Patrick Mahomes in any number.
00:24Yeah, I think the passing yards is going to be there, right?
00:28I mean, he's still going to chuck it 30, 35 times per game, 32 and a half touchdowns
00:33is appealing as well, because now with those added weapons and the ability for Isaiah Pacheco
00:39coming out of the backfield to catch passes, that's always an added attribute to that offense.
00:45So I like the passing yards and I like the passing touchdowns.
00:49The awards I don't buy into as much.
00:51We know he's going to be there, but when it comes down to the public and perception, that's
00:56where I back off.
00:57So I like the yards and I like the touchdowns this year because I think Marquise Brown has
01:01the potential to hit the ground running.
01:03He could be that Tyreek Hill type of player playing with one of the best ever in terms
01:08of Patrick Mahomes.
01:09He could be at least a 1200 yard receiver this year.
01:12Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how those, you know, quarterbacks and receivers actually
01:16melt here.
01:17But the one thing that is interesting is I do see the starters are going to play.
01:21You have that injury to Hollywood Brown.
01:22We don't know how long he's going to be out for, but it's not season ending.
01:25He should be back, hopefully, in the mid to later parts of September.
01:29But if you have a quarterback that can sort of quote unquote get by in the meantime, yeah,
01:33it's Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid.
01:34They'll certainly be ready for it.
01:35No doubt about it.
01:36If we do look at that MVP market, which I always get a kick out of this, and we just
01:39flashed the graphic up a short time ago, he's a five to one price to win the MVP from Mahomes.
01:44Obviously, he's going to be in the mix.
01:46We expect him to be one of the better football teams in the NFL.
01:49But to be the offensive player of the year, it's a 50 to one price.
01:53So you're telling me he's the best player in football, but he's 50 to one to win the
01:56offensive player of the year.
01:57Why do we still do this year with these type of award numbers here?
02:00That doesn't make any sense, Joe.
02:01No, it doesn't.
02:03And that's why what Tyreek Hill was the front runner, wasn't Tyreek at one point when he
02:07was close to 2000 yards, he was down to what, plus 350.
02:11At one point, we know that they give the offensive player of the year mostly to wide receivers
02:16and the MVP goes to the quarterback.
02:18So again, it comes down to perception.
02:21That's why I don't personally like betting those pre-season because I'd rather take a
02:25shot mid-season once you can get a gauge about potential projection and trajectory over the
02:30second half of the season.
02:32But again, Pat Mahomes is the best player in the NFL, hands down.
02:36We saw the NFL 100 list come out and they put Tyreek Hill in terms of number one overall.
02:41That's a joke as well.
02:42Pat Mahomes has three Super Bowls.
