2024 Chiefs Outlook: Can Kansas City Go For a Three-Peat?

00:00If you look at the Chiefs' outlook here in 2024, I think it's Super Bowl or bust once
00:10again because you've got Patrick Wilhelms, you've got Andy Reid, they're used to getting
00:13the Super Bowls and winning Super Bowls.
00:15I'm not, I don't smoke cigarettes, but I felt like I needed a couple packs of cigarettes
00:19watching the Chiefs play down the stretch lace.
00:21You're saying, how is this possible?
00:23They're beating these football teams.
00:24This is the least talented Chiefs offense we're supposed to have known over the past
00:28four to five years, and they still don't won the Super Bowls.
00:31Look at those odds to win the AFC West, a minus 230 price to win the AFC title, a plus
00:35350 price to win the Super Bowl, a six to one price.
00:39Are we buying into another Super Bowl championship, which will make it three in a row for the
00:44Chiefs here, Dubsy?
00:45Tony, if I said no, you'd say, Dubsy, you've been on the good stuff early on a Friday,
00:51but I can't.
00:52I think they avoided a lot of misfires there going through the regular season last year.
00:59I mean, they couldn't score in the second half.
01:00Spags are still one of the best lines in the game.
01:02The defensive side got them out of a lot of trouble.
01:05And then the other two key names, Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes, whenever you've got these
01:09two call-in shots, yes, they're going to be a factor late in the season, but they've just
01:13got to make it towards the playoffs there.
01:16So yes, the class, the experience, does it get easier in search of a third consecutive
01:21Lombardi?
01:22I don't think so.
01:23Every team is going to be playing their Super Bowl when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs
01:28and we'll see that opening night coming up on the 5th of September.
01:31But I do think there are a couple of concerns.
01:33The drop balls, that was a real thing last year.
01:36Which weapons is Patty Mahomes really going to have?
01:39Hollywood Brown, is he going to be back for full fitness to start this year?
01:42Travis Kelsey, fantastic catcher of the ball.
01:46What's he really going to put through another season?
01:48I mean, he is copping big body shot after big body shot.
01:52So for Patty Mahomes, he is going to have to be every bit of that superstar that we
01:56have seen through the last couple of years to make up for a couple of deficiencies that
02:00I see with that offense in terms of how do we play him on the betting side of things.
02:04Plus $600, it's Super Bowl or nothing, Donnie.
