00:00Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh has slammed Khairi Jamaluddin for telling her

00:06to be more proactive instead of passing the buck over the Malaysian contingent's performance

00:10in the Paris Olympics.

00:13Yeoh claimed that Khairi, a former Youth and Sports Minister, had implied that she should

00:17interfere in the affairs of the Olympic Council of Malaysia.

00:21In response, she said the OCM was accorded complete independence and autonomy to develop,

00:27promote and protect Malaysia's Olympic movement in line with the Olympic Charter.

00:33Yeoh also denied that she was playing Tai Chi, a known slang for passing the buck.

00:38Instead, she said she stood by her conviction and will continue to defend what she believes

00:43is right, which she sees as a sign of good governance.

00:47In the latest Keluar Skid Jump episode, Khairi said Yeoh should be more proactive and take

00:51on big beasts in national sporting associations instead of acting like a Tai Chi minister.

00:57He said it was not enough for Yeoh to say the OCM was elected by its own members and

01:01that she could only address what was within her control.
