00:08In the comics, during a multiversal galactic threat, Deadpool is tasked with assembling

00:13a team that becomes the Deadpool Corps.

00:16This team includes Lady Deadpool, Doppel, Kidpool and others along with multiversal

00:22reiterations of these characters.

00:24With the trailers already showing Doppel and Lady Deadpool and the plot of Deadpool and

00:29Wolverine resembling the Deadpool Corps storyline from the comics, it seems likely that other

00:34Deadpool reiterations, like Headpool, may even come to join the fight.

00:38Unfortunately, this suggestion of the Deadpool Corps does not bode well for the heroes.

00:43While it could be exciting to see a team of Deadpools, including Lady Deadpool, set up

00:48to take down a multiversal threat, the original story of the comic ends with all of these

00:53Deadpool variants being killed.

00:55As a result, this situation does not look hopeful for Lady Deadpool and the rest of

01:00the multiversal characters to persist in any meaningful way in the MCU.

01:04Audiences can expect sequences like the X-Force scene in Deadpool 2 to dispose of these characters

01:10soon after they are introduced.

01:11Whether or not the character appears in Deadpool and Wolverine, Lady Deadpool will likely appear

01:17in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at some point.

01:19Iterating on existing characters has become a new Marvel trend, especially evidenced by

01:25all the variants that appeared in Loki and the Illuminati that appeared in Doctor Strange

01:30in the Multiverse of Madness.

01:32As such, whether it's in Deadpool and Wolverine or a future MCU movie, Wanda Wilson is an

01:37interesting hero that would make great sense in the franchise.
