00:00Welcome back everyone.
00:07It is Amelia.
00:08I hope you are fine.
00:09One of the most curious moments from Deadpool and Wolverine was the footage that showed
00:14Thor crying over Wade Wilson.
00:16As seen in the new MCU movie, Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool is offered the chance to join Earth-6-16
00:22and the Sacred Timeline, an opportunity for him to become a hero among heroes such as
00:27the Avengers.
00:28However, there is never a moment where Deadpool and Marvel's God of Thunder actually meet.
00:33When the TVA picks up Wade Wilson at the beginning of Deadpool and Wolverine, Mr. Paradox offers
00:39Deadpool the chance to leave his universe behind to join the main MCU timeline as a
00:44genuine hero.
00:45However, Deadpool's original universe has been marked for deletion after the loss of
00:50Wolverine, its anchor being.
00:52Refusing the offer to try and save his loved ones, Deadpool defies the TVA, though not
00:57before seeing footage detailing a major moment between himself and Thor, a scene that may
01:02be teasing the MCU's exciting future.
01:05Being shown several sequences from past MCU movies by the Time Variance Authority, Wade
01:10is initially very excited about the prospect of being an Avenger, especially after the
01:15revelation that he interviewed with Happy Hogan, the first of many Deadpool and Wolverine
01:20cameos and was turned down back in 2018.
01:23However, Deadpool then sees footage of himself being held in the arms of none other than
01:28Thor, mirroring Loki's fake death in 2013's Thor The Dark World, scrambling to turn off
01:34the video feed on the monitor.
01:36Mr. Paradox confirms that this scene is actually a moment set in the future that hasn't yet
01:41come to pass.
01:42While this could have simply been a funny gag moment using this recycled footage from
01:47Dark World, the fact that it's confirmed to be a future event is intriguing.
01:51Likewise, it's not something Deadpool is willing to give up either, seeing as how he repeatedly
01:56questions Paradox about the moment such as why the God of Thunder was crying over him.
02:02Wade even wakes up later in the movie saying Thor's name, a running joke that may be signaling
02:07more than Wade simply having a man crush on the Asgardian Avenger.
02:11That said, the fact that Thor is crying over Deadpool in the TVA footage does not bode
02:16well for Wade Wilson.
02:17Likewise, it's also concerning that Deadpool's mask appears ripped while lying in the same
02:22position as Loki when it was made to appear as though the God of Mischief had met his
02:27end in the Dark World.
02:29To that end, perhaps some villain will finally succeed in killing Deadpool in an upcoming
02:33MCU movie such as Secret Wars.
02:36At any rate, the hope is that Deadpool will indeed get his moment in the sun before potentially
02:41sacrificing himself.
02:43Even if it's only for one or two movies, seeing Wade Wilson as one of Earth's mightiest
02:48heroes would be very exciting, especially now that he's seemingly earned the right following
02:53the events of Deadpool and Wolverine.
02:56No longer needing the Avengers as a source of purpose and fulfillment, Deadpool could
03:00finally become an Avenger because the multiverse needs him, even if it ultimately needs him
03:05to die in the big strong arms of Thor, which Wade would probably be okay with.
