00:00Hello. OK, for some of us it is going to turn pretty hot this weekend, but for the time
00:06being it's feeling rather warm, especially in any sunny spells. That being said, we do
00:11have some blustery winds, especially across northern parts of the UK. Notice the relatively
00:16tightly packed ice bars here. And it's on these winds we're going to see a few showers
00:20making their way in, especially across Scotland, but some showers across parts of northern
00:25England, Northern Ireland and perhaps one or two further south. But across Scotland,
00:29the showers could be quite heavy at times, but because of the blustery winds, they are
00:33going to rattle through quite quickly. The winds in the north are going to make it feel
00:38a little bit fresh for the time of year. Temperatures for some only just about getting into the
00:42mid-teens Celsius. Elsewhere, though, across much of England and Wales, after a bit of
00:47a cloudy start for some, lots of fine sunny weather to come as we go through this afternoon.
00:52And with that, it is going to feel pretty warm. Temperatures widely across much of England
00:56and Wales in the high teens to low to mid 20s. Later on, there will be more showers
01:01across parts of Scotland in particular. Still some heavy ones, still some blustery winds
01:05here elsewhere, and we're going to start the night dry with some clear skies. But across
01:11parts of Wales, southwest England, perhaps northwest England, things will turn cloudier
01:15as we go through the early hours of Saturday morning, with some rain starting to push its
01:19way in as well. Further east, we'll hold on to the clearer skies and it is going to be
01:24a little bit fresh. Perhaps for some of us here could see some places falling into single
01:28figures. But where we have the cloud towards the west, temperatures are going to hold up.
01:32So quite a bit warmer here through Saturday itself. Then it is actually going to turn
01:37quite cloudy across many parts of England and Wales as a weak system kind of pushes
01:41its way in from the west. There will be some heavy rain around, especially over the hills
01:46towards western parts, particularly over Wales and southwest England. Otherwise, any rain
01:50doesn't look particularly heavy. In fact, eastern parts, although they'll turn cloudy,
01:54are going to stay largely dry. Further north, across the far north of England, Northern
01:58Ireland and Scotland, it's a relatively similar day to today, really. Some bright sunny spells
02:04in between a few showers, the showers heaviest most frequent across parts of Scotland and
02:08still some blustery winds here and temperatures relatively similar, perhaps a touch higher
02:13for some of us. So a greater chance of getting into the low 20s across parts of Scotland.
02:18Further south, there is warmer, hotter air across us by Saturday, but with a bit more
02:23cloud around, it may not necessarily feel much warmer if at all. More cloud to come
02:28across southern parts for a time as we go into Sunday, but there is going to be high
02:32pressure dominating and so that should bring a lot of fine sunny weather for many of us.
02:38And with that then, we are going to be dragging in some hot, humid air. So I'm expecting temperatures
02:43to rise. A good chance on Sunday we're going to get into the high 20s towards the southeast,
02:48possibly low 30s, but I think it'll be Monday when we see the peak in temperatures getting
02:53to highs of around 32 or 33 Celsius. Do watch out for this system though, that could bring
02:58some heavy thundery rain as we go into the beginning of next week. We will of course
03:02be keeping you up to date with that as we may need some warnings. So make sure you never
03:06miss an update by subscribing to our YouTube channel. Bye bye.
