00:50were no wrongdoings during the electoral process.

02:56members are going to be taking part throughout the day in these hearings as they present
03:02their allegations and the information requested by the Supreme Court of Justice as they continue
03:09the investigations into the July 28th election following President Maduro's appeal of protection
03:16last week.
03:18All this in the context of far-right opposition figures as Edmundo González and MarĂa Corina
03:25Anchado that have led violent protests to disregard the electoral results and disregard
03:32the will of the Venezuelan people that in a majority voted for Nicolás Maduro to be
03:39the next president, the re-elected president of the Bolivarian nation for the term 2025-2031.
04:00So as in the first hearing we're waiting for the magistrates of the Supreme Court to come
04:06to the room and start listening to the allegations and in this case the candidate to present
04:14is the document, José Luis, to present all the documents that was required of him to
04:20bring forth before the Supreme Court of Justice.
04:29All this comes in the context, as you were saying, of the electoral results that following
04:37the announcement that President Maduro had been re-elected, certain sectors of the far-right
04:43opposition began to lead, to instigate destabilizing actions and to create, to incite violence.
04:51Certain sectors to disregard the electoral results and to bring about a change in government
04:57through violence supported by international actors, mainly from far-right allies coming
05:03from the states and the use of paramilitary groups that have been named as comanditos
05:11to lead all these criminal actions.
05:15The Attorney General's Office is also conducting the pertinent investigation into all these
05:19criminal actions that have been carried out throughout the country.
05:24As reported, there were over 2,000 people arrested involved in these violent actions,
05:28violent actions that have led to the death of two Chavista supporters, one of them an
05:33elderly man over 60 years old, and also from the Bolivarian National Forces, also two people
05:40lost their life in defense of the peace and tranquility of the Venezuelan people.
