00:00Carlos Yulo, an Olympic gold medalist at a young age,

00:05already saw the potential in gymnastics.

00:07That's why his father, who was one of the first to see his determination,

00:11has a message for the success of his son.

00:18In a simple tumbling in a playground in Manila,

00:22Carlos Yulo's long but successful gymnastics journey began.

00:28Then one day, a gymnast approached us.

00:36She told us, why didn't you join the gymnastics?

00:40After going to tryouts, he started training at the age of 7.

00:45Until he joined and won in various local gymnastics competitions,

00:50especially national games.

00:52At the age of 13, his mother was a Japanese coach,

00:56Monehiro Kugimiya.

00:58And she flew to Japan to tryout.

01:01In 2019, he became the first Filipino gymnast to win

01:06the 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Germany.

01:11And he won two gold medals in the 30th Southeast Asian Games.

01:15That's just a few of the medals Carlos won

01:19from various international gymnastics competitions.

01:22Yulo said,

01:24I don't aim for medals in all competitions.

01:28What I aim for is to give my best performance.

01:32At the Tokyo Olympics, Yulo didn't aim for a podium finish.

01:36But he was destined for victory at the Paris Olympics.

01:41Carlos' father, mixed anxiety and joy

01:44when his son joined the men's floor exercise.

06:34will be replaced by the August 8 screening

06:36of the investigative documentary,

06:38Lost sa Bungeros sa Pagkawala,

06:41by more than 30 film festivals in the country

06:44since 2021.

06:51Three suspects have been arrested

06:53for stealing a motorcycle

06:56and for raping a woman

06:58in Tanay Rizal.

07:03According to the police,

07:05three men forcibly stole the motorcycle

07:08of the victim

07:10while driving along Sampaloc Road.

07:13The suspects left the victim

07:15in a suspicious place

07:17while the woman was brought to an abandoned house

07:20and there was an incident.

07:23The woman immediately complained

07:25to her family.

07:26The suspects were arrested.

07:28According to the police,

07:29many of the suspects were victims of carnapping.

07:32Three confessed to the theft.

07:34One of the suspects denied the accusation of rape.

07:37The suspects are currently detained

07:39in the Tanay Municipal Custodial Facility

07:42and facing carnapping complaints

08:34and the Chief of the Manila Fire Safety Enforcement Branch,

08:38Fire Chief Inspector Dominic Salvacion,

08:41are involved in the investigation

08:44by the Bureau of Fire Protection, NCR,

08:46which is about the identification of all 11 victims.

08:50The victims were provided with food,

08:53financial assistance,

08:54and transportation assistance

08:58by the Manila Department of Social Welfare.

09:01The Manila LGU said

09:03that the victims will be cremated.

09:08The Philippine National Police is investigating

09:11who is helping to prevent the arrest

09:13of the suspended Bamban Tanlac Mayor, Alice Guo.

09:19If there is sufficient evidence

09:21and we can prove that there is someone

09:23who is helping to prevent the arrest of Mayor Alice Guo,

09:27we can file a case.

09:30The Mayor has not visited the Senate

09:34about the fire in Bamban.

09:36According to the Department of Justice,

09:38Guo is still in the country.

09:40There is no indication that Guo is out of the country

09:43according to PNP Spokesperson Jean Fajardo.
