00:00More than 40,000 workers lost their jobs after Pogo was banned by President Bongbong Marcos

00:21Connie, after the inspection by DILG Secretary John Vicrimulia,

00:25the Pogo Hub in Kawit, Cavite was officially banned by the government.

00:29This is to show that the largest Pogo Hub in the country is not really operating.

00:34According to President Bongbong Marcos' order,

00:37the dormitories were searched and gaming areas were also entered.

00:40After that, it was blocked.

00:42The visit to the Pogo Hub in Island Cove was promised by Vicrimulia Langsia Emopo as DILG Secretary.

00:48She was the former owner of the Vicrimulia Island Cove before it was sold in 2018 and turned into a Pogo Hub.

00:5415,000 employees lost their livelihoods because of the closure of the Pogo Hub in Island Cove.

01:00According to the PAGCOR, there are 40,000 displaced workers in the country because of the President's ban on all Pogos.

01:07DOLE and DTI are helping to find livelihoods of the affected workers.

01:14The owner of the Pogo Hub does not know what to do with the 30 hectares of land that has 57 buildings.

01:22They are open to any proposal from the government.

01:25The next thing that the government will focus on is the successful operations of other Pogos.

01:31There are already guidelines issued to the local government units to find out if there are Pogos hiding in their area.
