00:00The National Electoral Council of Venezuela proclaims and confirms the re-election of
00:05Nicolás Maduro as president of the South American nation.
00:08After Sunday's victory, President Maduro arrived at the headquarters of the National
00:13Electoral Council to be proclaimed constitutional president for the period 2025-2031.
00:19In this regard, Elvis Amoroso, president of the Electoral Council, expressed that the
00:24Venezuelan electoral system is the best internationally, adding that the Venezuelan people express
00:29their will by means of the suffrage and that the sovereignty lies with the citizens as
00:34dictated by the constitution.
00:42The constitutional president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, received the credential from
00:46the electoral power for a new mandate for the 2025-2031 term.
00:51During his speech, he denounced a far-right led by cyber-attack against the electoral
00:56system.
00:57A cyber-attack is a hacking to the electoral transmission system, hindering the transmission
01:11of data to lead to an electoral blackout.
01:19They wanted to boost an electoral blackout to hinder the electoral results.
01:31In the face of the attacks and claims from the far-right backed by international forces,
01:35the re-elected president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reaffirmed the Venezuelan people's
01:39determination to freedom and sovereignty.
01:44We are determined to be free and as well as we have defeated you, we are going to
01:52defeat you once again.
01:54We are going to defend peace, tranquility, democracy, and the life of this Bolivarian
02:02revolution of this 21st century.
02:06We are going to defend it with constitution, with laws, with civic unity, with the mobilized
02:12people, permanently.
02:16Meanwhile the Venezuelan Attorney General's Office denounced the attempts of the extreme
02:20right to destabilize the outcome of the presidential elections.
02:23During the press conference, the Attorney General Tarek William Saab congratulated the
02:27Venezuelan people for participating in the election day in a peaceful manner without
02:32falling into provocations.
02:34Likewise, Tarek William Saab asserted that the opposition sought to perfect the hybrid
02:40war that started 25 years ago with the international spokesperson calling for bloodshed.
02:48And I want to congratulate the people of Venezuela that were able to combat all these attempts.
02:59So it has been the electoral referee, the electoral council, as I warned you several
03:05times that was the authority for saying who was the winner.
03:13The Attorney General of Venezuela also referred to the fact that the National Electoral Council
03:18will release the total results of the elections in the next few hours as a sign of the transparency
03:23of the process.
03:25But in the coming hours, there will be available in the official website the results, a thorough
03:36analysis of the results of each polling station.
03:42This is what is valid, not a photocopy of what you intended to do in November.
03:53Meanwhile, the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, congratulated his Venezuelan counterpart,
03:58Nicolás Maduro, on his victory in the presidential elections.
04:01On a communiqué, Putin stressed,
04:03Russia and Venezuelan relations are based on a strategic partnership.
04:07I am sure that your activities as a head of state will continue to contribute to their
04:12progressive development in each area.
04:14Later, the head of state added,
04:17This full response to the interests of our friendly peoples and is aligned with the construction
04:22of a fairer and more democratic world order.
04:25Finally, the President noted,
04:27I would like to confirm our readiness to continue our constructive joint work on current issues
04:32of the bilateral and international agenda.
04:35Bear in mind that you will always be a welcome guest on Russian soil.
04:45In Venezuela, former presidential candidate BenjamĂn RaĂşl CĂ©u commented on the victory
04:50of the Venezuelan president-elect, Nicolás Maduro.
04:56All of us who participated in this election submitted ourselves to the rules and to the
05:00referee who governed them.
05:04What we have to do now is to accept and abide by the verdict of the referee, who is the
05:10one who transmits the verdict of the people.
05:13Therefore, I endorse the decision of the National Electoral Council and congratulate the one
05:19whom the arbitrator has proclaimed as the winner.
05:23After the arbitrator pronounces his sentence, what we have to do is to turn the page of
05:28the election and start a new chapter, that of a reconciled Venezuela.
05:34Also, former presidential candidate Luis Eduardo MartĂnez urged Venezuelans to recognize the
05:40official results with peace and to forge a national dialogue.
05:44Peace, peace, peace.
05:51It is time for peace.
05:53Peace forged in dialogue, reconciliation, understanding.
05:58Peace consensus to get Venezuela out of the dramatic crisis in which it finds its reality.
06:03It is time to embrace each other as brothers to work together to be Venezuela.
06:09The best country in the world.
06:11Honor to the vanquished, glory to the victor.
06:14Antonio José de Sucre, Great Marshal.
06:17May God bless all Venezuelan families.
06:21Likewise, former opposition candidate José Brito acknowledged the presidential election's
06:27outcome.
06:30We have received the first bulletin, which indicates that with 80% of the tallies, there
06:35is a result.
06:37We have been coherent with our proposal from the moment we presented our name for consideration
06:41of the will of the Venezuelan people that we presented the proposal of Plan B.
06:46We also said that we would recognize it, not only the results, but also the call for peace
06:52for the peace of Venezuela.
