00:00Well as you both know the rules so let's just have a good clean fight okay most
00:05of all remember to defend yourselves at all times all right
00:20we're ready for action here at the o2 arena go get a snack now because Moses
00:27Atama has shown early power winning nine of his seven professional fights by
00:31first-round knockout and tonight he's in against a 44 year old who has lost
00:37plenty over the last 14 fights nine out of his last 14 10 out of his last 21
00:44after a 27 and 0 start to his career and you know he has a ton of experience you
00:49know I consider him a dinosaur boxing VAC he's going to try to use that height
00:58and reach see what a Thomas handlers are trying to get him his rounds yeah that's
01:05what they're trying to get him you know VAC has a ton of experience he knows how
01:08to survive inside the ring knows that again keep his height and distance make
01:13it interesting worry Tama but the rounds are needed especially if he's going to
01:19move forward and become a heavyweight champion one day yeah he's only got 20
01:23rounds in nine professional fights that averages to 2.2 rounds per fight I
01:28talked about six of the nine victories coming by first round knockout so that's
01:33what this is about gaining that crucial experience against a man who's been in
01:37against some of the best fighters over the last 19 years that he's been a
01:43professional I like what a Thomas doing he's he's taking his time you see the
01:48speed advantage that he has but also he's starting to drop faints making
01:55himself very unpredictable you got a subtle reaction about a few seconds ago
02:04from VAC let's see if you can make them pay with something if he's at that
02:09faints gonna open up something you see the size difference almost 40 pounds
02:13favoring VAC in that sense but the young it Tama obviously looking in way
02:19better shape at six foot six compared to the six point six foot eight Viking so
02:24not a small guy he just looks small against Bach right
02:35nice one two combination follow this up with the right so it Tama off to a quick
02:41start here in the first round
02:49good right and VAC able to take the best shots from the Tama early on and I'm
02:59gonna tell you I know that box been around for a very long time but man the
03:02heavyweights of today they have the most sloppiest bodies that and in the history
03:08seriously yeah yeah the group of heavyweights right now I'm from Tyson
03:13Furry Oh Matt my gosh their bodies terrible looking the exception being
03:20Anthony Joshua I mean that's the Adonis right there that's what I'm used to
03:24seeing nice jab to end the first round for Moses it Tama and Fox seen a lot of
03:32jabs over his career let's take a look at who he's been in against and down at
03:38the bottom you see the losses to Vladimir Klitschko in 2012 for the world
03:42title and then Alexander Pavetkin who stopped them in 12 rounds and when you
03:49look at Marius VAC I mean Dillian white Martin Boccoli Artur Spilka and Kevin
03:55Lorena are wins in his resume a lot of the guys who ended up being champions
04:01had to go through this guy yeah I mean look VAC he's a he's a good contender
04:07you know at the time he was I mean he's a lot like a long in the tooth guys but
04:13you know he's gonna test this young guy tonight if he can take his punch it has
04:18to go a few more rounds man you know for VAC to be able to have success he has to
04:24establish his jab keep his range and keep the young gun from getting to him
04:30too early because the longer the fight goes the better it is for him
04:37when we look at how guys started the sport Tim everybody has a story about
04:43what happened the first time they ever got in the ring you want to hear the
04:46story about VAC yeah so he steps into the ring spars ends up with three broken
04:52fingers you know why why nobody told him he had to wrap his hands put the gloves
04:57on and started throwing so that's the origin story of the Viking Marius VAC and
05:05there you see the weight differential between these two nearly 40 pounds and
05:10that's why it Tom is going straight down to the body
05:12Thomas not a little guy six foot six nearly 240 pounds but he's got a
05:19mountain of a man in front of him in Marius VAC
05:23nice quick combination using his feet tip to set up those quick punches you
05:35see the quickness and accuracy and explosiveness of the Tom closing the gap
05:41already to use that reach however VAC is doing a good job I mean he's avoiding
05:51some of these shots he's blocking deflecting trying to move out of the way
05:54of these shots from the Tama again veteran fighters there they're going to
06:06have success later in the fight yeah because they're able to use their
06:11experience later no he Tama hasn't been passed I believe six rounds so you want
06:17to take him deep you want to try to avoid the big shots like this which he
06:22isn't
06:32got to learn to play defense early and picking up those 290 pounds off of the
06:39canvas is not easy Tim and here you see it Thomas sensing that VAC is back up
06:45against the robes he's trying to use the Philly shell but just cannot get
06:49away from that right hook and that left hand of Moses at Tama there's that right
06:53hook once again follows it up with a quick flurry and in steps referee
06:58Michael Alexander maybe a little early but it was just it was the foregone
07:04conclusion as Ben Davidson goes and congratulates his charge and what a
07:08great run for Ben Davidson now with Anthony Joshua and Moses at Tama
07:16yeah Bach Bach was trapped in that corner didn't throw any offense back and
07:21that's the reason why the referee stepped in to save his life you know he
07:26Tama really put those combinations together jumped on him early heard him
07:30and he's a great finisher as you can see he can smell blood that's a that's a
07:34great quality to have in a fighter is your ability to turn it on when you need
07:39to turn it on knowing that your man is hurt or injured and that's what he Tama
07:44did right there combinations were blazing fast too too quick too strong too
07:49young you know this kid got a bright future man he's a good-looking Southpaw
07:54again I want to see him get into the later rounds and see how he behaves once
07:59he gets in there with a guy that can take it on the chin and condition as
08:03well but as you see here Bach don't have any defense he's just getting hit
08:09with combinations you can go into that Philly show if you want to fight
08:14against the Southpaw you leave an opening for the lead hand of the Southpaw
08:19which is that right hook and you can see the swivel jab nice close left hand
08:22right down the middle nice level change I love the variation with the
08:28combination right there sneaking them downstairs then coming right over the
08:32top with a nice little swivel jab
08:37nice angle right there he was able to take
08:42he's just flowing just flowing taking everything that Bach gave him taking
08:48advantage of any opportunities that Bach gave him any openings right here
08:55and you knew that this was all she wrote and I knew the referee was sooner or
08:59later was gonna step in it was probably about 10 shots right there unanswered by
09:03Bach I thought it was a good stoppage yeah I mean it was a foregone conclusion
09:08that it was going to end this way and so the referee just avoided any further
09:13punishment for the 44 year old out of Poland and this is not where you want to
09:18be against a young energetic accurate and poised finisher like Moses look at
09:23the defense in the offense and how short and crisp precise those shots are they're
09:28accurate he's just not just throwing caution to the wind like he's actually
09:31placing those shots in real time and real speed that's impressive work right
09:35there for me Tom all right we're waiting on Thomas Treiber for the official time
09:40of the stoppage inside the o2 arena in London
09:48good start for Moses Atama on this fight card
09:53ladies and gentlemen here is the official time two minutes 30 seconds of
09:58round number two our referee in charge Michael Alexander steps in to stop the
10:05contest therefore your winner by way of technical knockout still undefeated and
10:14still WBO Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion Moses Atama
10:27now makes it six knockouts in a row 22 rounds in just 10 fights he needs those
10:33all-important rounds against
