04:40but here this is just a bit of target practice at the moment for hamid again the jab getting

04:46through his village cops that hands just drop he was in there with that razor sharp jab

04:55he's looking really neat nice and tidy i think his shots as well they're nice and

04:59flashy he stands you know his stance is pretty pretty nice for a novice boxer i think there's

05:06the boys in the corner i know jimmy moon and nigel travis very very well and they're very happy with

05:11what they've been seeing in the gym obviously there's a lot more to improve on but he looks

05:15to be well on his journey i'll tell you one thing i've noticed him he's not like his dad there's not

05:26there's no flashness about the kid he's he looks respectful he's keeping his hands reasonably high

05:33a very different style to his father yeah there is a discipline there is

05:38an authority in this performance from adam hamid so far

05:43uh

05:52the job to the body has been a quite an effective shot here it's a

05:56considering hamid is a lot taller it's not normally or typically anyway a shot that you

06:01see the taller fighter through but it's been working well here for hamid

06:04just looking to redden up a little bit around the faces village coffers

06:14hamid again just goes on the hunt the other guy tried to get to just bludgeon his way through his

06:20defense

06:30and it's good experience as well as nick carl because you need to get rounds in at this early

06:36stage of his career there's no point in just going in and blowing out opponents within 30 seconds of

06:42absolutely and look he's he hasn't had much armature experience i think he's been doing a lot

06:46of good work and a lot of good rounds in the gym which is where he will really be improving um but

06:51he's got an opponent here who's reasonably tough and i think that i think that he's looking good

06:57the boys the boys will be reasonably happy with what they've seen so far i think

07:06and there is plenty of target there for village coffee decides he wants to introduce a little bit

07:12of adventure into his performance here as opposed to just focusing on survival

08:55again you can see as he comes in the arms again in that almost like that gunslinger mode they're

09:01down there and he's trying to tempt maybe the leech cough to have a go at him so he can land

09:06on the counter just show him what power that he does possess because there is a knockout punch

09:12there yeah he wants he wants the leech cough to open up a little bit which he isn't really doing

09:16and that's that's one of the issues sometimes with journeymen trying to trying to get them to

09:21open up and it's a difficult job to do but i think if he looks to double attack you know one attack

09:27step back out of range and go straight back in i think that may work

09:35nice shot to the body there

09:44they landed only 13 punches coming into

09:48this round village cough as opposed to the 40 that had landed on his frame

09:57but again the pace has just dropped a little the target isn't moving

10:20that that hamid is thrown is is something i think that has worked quite well but his jabs really

10:25good really really good job and that's the shot that i think as he develops is really really

10:31important as a fighter if he can perfect that job i think he can be a hell of a fighter

10:36the thing is he is in there for his durability as we said he's had 17 fights in the uk village

10:42cop it was only stopped in two of those uh joe morgan and that was in telford a year ago

10:50so he's he's not easy to get out of that

10:54of the very few victories that he's had throughout the course of this year

10:58one did come earlier on this year but it was back in sofia

11:08but it takes it takes a certain mentality doesn't it to to come and do the job that he's

11:14being charged to do oh absolutely look he comes look he he doesn't win many fights

11:20and that never normally happens but he's a top kid and he takes a good shot

11:24and the learning process continues another round in the back four

11:33so more consistency yeah that'd be triggered that'd be clever and smart with it see me when

13:37and we said earlier on in the fight that that's a shot that i think will work against bleach

13:41golf but he threw it probably from a little bit too far out if he gets a little bit closer

13:46and throws that uppercut he could have more success here's a bit of the dad coming out now

14:21are you talking about how much work he's been doing in the gym and when you consider that he's

14:26basically been out of it for 330 odd days yeah it looks good yeah he does it's been a long time

14:32out of the ring but i think he's been working on a lot of stuff behind the scenes he's obviously

14:36trying to team up with a with a team and he's finally found the team and jimmy mirror and

14:40nigel travis and like i said already i think they're very very impressed with his work ethic

14:45and the improvements that he has been making in the gym

14:47five to nine

14:52well it's pretty much about the first shot he's taken for a considerable while there hamid

15:02the niche god's work is very nearly done for the night 20 seconds or so left here for him to

15:09survive it is another opponent that he has taken the full distance

15:17i give up now the last 10

15:21be up the middle

15:22not the secret of success be ready for the opportunities when they present and he's putting

15:27a performance uh proportion and self-assurance here as adam hamid and it is a comfortable victory

15:36that will give him a lot of confidence moving forward yeah look i think so like i said he's

15:41just jailing him with a new team i think the boys will be very happy with that i'm just looking at

15:45his dad at ringside i think his dad will be very happy with it you know he won every second of every

15:50round against a very game and tough and durable kid but there's a lot to like about adam hamid

15:55i think he's a nice a nice style on the eye um and i think there's a lot of potential there is

16:04as he was asked about him in the in the build-up in the last couple of weeks he said look he said

16:09my son's his own man and i think he's shown that tonight just the stepping stone he said

16:15to where i want to be so the decision is about to arrive
