Venezuela set for presidential elections on July 28th

00:00Let's go now with our special envoy in Venezuela, Abraham Mir, for the latest information from the ground.
00:08Today is the second to last day of the official campaign season for the Venezuelan presidential elections, which will take place on Sunday.
00:16And the mood here in Caracas is completely calm. There's no signs of any kinds of agitation.
00:22People are just going about their day-to-day business as normal.
00:26You wouldn't even know that there was an election going on if it weren't for all of the billboards and campaign posters.
00:31But tomorrow, Nicolas Maduro is going to have his final rally of the season, and over 100,000 people are expected to come out in the streets of Caracas.
00:42His campaign season opened with a massive rally on July 4th that culminated with two separate marches that joined together behind Miraflores Palace.
00:51And the expectation that tomorrow the crowd's going to be even larger.
00:56The other candidates are all out doing their campaign activities across the state, and there'll be rallies in different parts of the country tomorrow by them as well.
01:06But for now, things are going about completely normally here in the city of Caracas.
