Adobe Dimension is a 3D Mockup tool which is a part of Adobe Creative Cloud. In this course, you will learn how to work in a 3d environment, import 3d models, add in textures, render and export final outputs.
In this video lesson, we will learn about Environment Lights in Adobe Dimension.

00:00So now let's see how we can work around with environmental light inside of Adobe Dimension.
00:10So to do that, I'm going to go around and bring in some objects like a spear right here.
00:15So if I were to go around and see the spear, you can see some lights right here.
00:19I have my render preview turned on right here and you can see the reflection accordingly.
00:24So if I were to go around over here and bring in a metal, let's say for example, then you
00:28can see a reflection of the environment that it is mimicking right here, which is done
00:33by environmental lighting.
00:35I can also go around over here and bring in, let's say, for example, another object like
00:40let's say, for example, a food pouch right here.
00:43And then I can also go around over here and bring in, let's say, for example, this spray
00:47bottle around over here, just like this.
00:50So if I were to go around over here, I can also go around and then add in, let's say,
00:54something like this right here.
00:56And then I'm just going to go around and add in this around over here, just like this as
01:00well.
01:01And this is the environmental lighting that you have right here, just like this.
01:05So I can also go around and change the environmental lighting.
01:09And to do that, you can go around onto the lighting section right here and scroll down
01:14and drag it out right here.
01:16And then you can see that I can simply change around the environmental lighting.
01:19So that's the studio warm light right here.
01:21And you can see the relevant reflection just like that as well.
01:25You can also go around onto color stage right here and then you got a similar lighting right
01:29here.
01:30Similarly, go around and bring this in and then you got that lighting right here.
01:34Similarly, go for forest lighting and then you got that reflection right there, just
01:38like that.
01:39So for the environmental lighting, you can go around, change around the intensity of
01:43the lighting as well, change around the rotation right here and change around the reflection
01:48as well, just like this, according to how you want.
01:51You can even colorize the lighting right here and let's say, for example, make it more
01:55warm right here or make it more bluish over here as well.
01:59Apart from that, you can go around onto temperature and then give it a more blue tint or a more
02:05yellow tint as you like, just like this as well.
02:08And that is how you can go around and work with environmental lights inside of Adobe
02:13Dimension.
