00:00So now let me just go around and bring in this object such as a food can right here
00:10and hold alt to go around and then duplicate this out right here.
00:13So let's just go around and duplicate this out around over here just like this.
00:18So these are my objects as you can see right here.
00:21And let's say I want to select certain portions of these objects.
00:25In that case you can utilize something called the magic wand tool right here and you can
00:29go around select the selection mode right here and then click right here just like this.
00:34And as I click you can go around and see that I can select this particular portion.
00:38I can go around and select this or this right here and it selects the similar portion right
00:43here.
00:44I can select just the as and so forth as you can see.
00:46I can even go around and delete that particular as right here.
00:50And then depending on the selection you can see that I can delete that particular section
00:54right here.
00:55I can also go around and change around the selection size right here just like this as
00:59well.
01:00So if I were to go around over here and then let's say for example change out the selection
01:04size on to small it'll select a larger area as you can see right here.
01:09I can simply go around and select a larger area right here just like this as well.
01:15If I were to go around and click and hold and click on select similar right here.
01:19Let me just keep the select and size to a bit small.
01:23In a certain size you can see that I can select similar as well.
01:26I can click and what happens is that it'll select out similar object on the bottom and
01:31so forth as well.
01:32Let me just go around and turn this off right here.
01:35So and keep the selection size to tiny itself.
01:38If I were to go around and click right here and click here again then you can see that
01:43it simply goes around and then deselects the other part.
01:46But if I were to go around right here and then click on this right here that is add
01:51to selection in selection mode.
01:53Then I can go around and click and select more of the options right here just like this
01:58as well.
01:59I can also go around over here and you can see that it is it says subtract from selection
02:03right here.
02:04And as I go around and click I can subtract out the selections that I don't want right
02:10here just like this.
02:11So now on these selected portions you can go around and add in different materials as
02:15well.
02:16Let's say for example I'm going to go around and add in this right here just like this
02:21and then what happens is that it simply goes around and adds in that material right here.
02:29And over here you can see that that material has been added in.
02:33You can also go around and delete out the portions like I said earlier as well.
02:37So if I were to go around and let's say for example select this out then I can select
02:42it and delete it out as a one.
02:44So that is how you can go around and utilize the magic wand selection tool inside of Adobe
02:49Dimension.
02:50So hope you found this video useful.
