00:00Because of you, and by the way, we're also told that what was going to happen is, there
00:11was no possibility of being able to get bipartisan legislation passed.
00:16You know, remember Trump used to always talk about what he was going to do in terms of
00:21the whole idea of building bridges, roads, internet, and he had infrastructure month
00:26every month.
00:27He didn't build a thing.
00:28But look what we're doing.
00:33How can you be the most powerful country in the world and have bridges that don't work,
00:36highways that don't work, people, look, the internet is as consequential to most people
00:41as the telephone used to be 50 years ago.
00:44And so the point is that we're able to put it together.
00:48I'm optimistic.
00:49I'm optimistic.
00:50We've done, I'm going to say something that's going to sound awful.
00:54The press is here, so I'm going to say it in front of them.
00:57I think most of the political historians say I've gotten more done than most presidents
01:01have since Franklin Roosevelt in terms of fundamental changes and, and by the way, in
01:06the process, all this is going on.
01:09We saved money.
01:11We lowered the debts.
01:12We gave people more jobs.
01:13It didn't do any of the thing.
01:15Remember, it was going to be this hard landing and nothing was going to happen.
01:18Well, guess what?
01:19I was worried today.
01:20The Wall Street Journal talks about how Wall Street Journal economists think I am better
01:24than Trump in terms of the economy.
01:26It's worrisome to me, but all kidding aside, think about it because when you give people
01:32a fighting chance, everybody does better, not a joke.
01:37And the last example I'll give you is I've been fighting for years, taking on big pharma.
01:44I can put you in Air Force One with me as we flew up in and you have a prescription
01:48by an American drug company.
01:50I can fly you to Toronto or to Berlin or to London or to Rome, get you the same exact
01:57prescription from the same exact company for somewhere between 40 to 60 percent less.
02:02For example, I was able to reduce the price of insulin for people who have serious problems
02:08they had needed on a regular basis from $400 a month to $35 a month.
02:13So there's the deal.
02:16There's the deal.
02:18The reason I was able to do that, guess what?
02:20The fact of the matter is they still make 350 percent profit.
02:25It cost them 10 bucks to make it.
02:27It cost them 10 bucks to make it.
02:29And so my point is what that did was everybody said, Biden, you know, this big liberal, you
02:34know, is it going to cost this much?
02:37Guess what?
02:38It saved you, the taxpayer, $1.7 billion.
02:43I'm serious.
02:48Because Medicare didn't have to pay these prices.
02:50They can negotiate it.
02:52My generic point is that all the stuff we'd like, for example, I make no apologies.
02:57I'm the most pro-labor president in American history.
