00:00Apple Trouble by Reckon Health Scammer
00:29Hedgehog had just finished building her winter nest under the old apple tree, not too large
00:44and not too small, just right for a nice long winter's sleep.
00:52Suddenly a juicy red apple landed on her back.
00:56Ouch, squeaked Hedgehog.
01:03She curled into a spiny ball, hoping it would fall off, but when she uncurled, the juicy
01:09red apple was still there.
01:12Hedgehog tried to squeeze herself and the apple into the beautiful new nest, but could
01:17she get in?
01:18No, she could not, not with the apple on her back.
01:22The nest was too small, oh dear.
01:28Squirrel, scurrying past with an armful of brown nuts, stopped to help.
01:35Stand still and I'll push the apple off, he said.
01:42And he pushed, and he struggled, and he heaved, and he tugged.
01:51But the juicy red apple stayed where it was.
01:55Worse still, three of Squirrel's brown nuts got caught in Hedgehog's spines, so now she
02:01had a juicy red apple and three brown nuts on her back.
02:06Oh dear, wailed Hedgehog.
02:09Winter is coming and I can't get into my nest.
02:12What will I do?
02:15Try rolling on your back, snorted Pig, trotting up.
02:19I'll get rid of it all.
02:24Hedgehog threw herself on the ground.
02:26Her little legs paddled in the air as she twisted and wiggled and rolled.
02:34Has it all gone? she asked hopefully, scrabbling to her feet.
02:39Pig shook his head.
02:40No, the juicy red apple and the three brown nuts were still there.
02:46So were a small green pear and a crumpled brown leaf.
02:50Oh dear, sighed Hedgehog, rolling her eyes.
02:55But up in the sky, sailing towards Hedgehog, she saw a colorful piece of paper.
03:00Oh no, she cried.
03:03This way and that she ran as fast as she could.
03:06This way and that drifted the paper and landed right on her back between the apple and the
03:15three brown nuts.
03:17It's not fair, cried Hedgehog, who now had a juicy red apple, three brown nuts, a small
03:24green pear, a crumpled brown leaf and a colorful piece of paper on her back.
03:30I'll never get into my nest.
03:34Hedgehog paddled to the pond and gazed at her reflection in the water.
03:39Hello Hedgehog, that's a lot of stuff on your back, croaked Frog.
03:45I'm trying to get rid of it, sniffed Hedgehog.
03:49Dive, said Frog, that'll wash it off.
03:54Hedgehog dipped a foot in the murky water, then dived.
03:59Splash!
04:01Her friends watched Hedgehog bobbing up and down.
04:04The juicy red apple, the three brown nuts, the small green pear, the crumpled brown leaf
04:10and the colorful piece of paper were all still there.
04:14So was a pink water lily.
04:16Glug, glug, glug, gurgled Hedgehog as the others heaved her out of the water.
04:22She did look funny.
04:27But Hedgehog did not find it funny.
04:30Stop laughing, she spluttered and stamped her feet on the ground.
04:35Where am I going to sleep?
04:38Pig and Squirrel looked worried, so did Frog.
04:41I do have one last idea, winked Pig.
04:46Squeeze through that hedge over there, that'll brush everything off.
04:51So Hedgehog closed her eyes and squeezed herself through the thick leaves, but did it get everything
04:57off her back?
05:00Nope, it did not.
05:03It was all still there.
05:06So were four ripe blackberries.
05:09In there, staring at her with a look of great surprise, stood Goat.
05:14Oh, cried Goat, you've brought lunch.
05:19Help yourself, said Hedgehog, take it all.
05:24Yippee, brayed Goat.
05:29Then he picked off and ate the juicy red apple, the three brown nuts, the small green pear,
05:35the pink water lily, and the four ripe blackberries.
05:39For dessert, he ate the paper.
05:42The only thing he left was the crumpled brown leaf.
05:45He just couldn't eat any more.
05:49Hooray, cried Hedgehog.
05:54She felt as light as a feather.
05:56Thank you, Goat, she said.
05:59Then she ran as fast as her little legs could carry her, through the gate, past the pond,
06:04across the orchard, under the tree, and home to her nest.
06:13Hedgehog squeezed into her little nest.
06:15It fit her perfectly, and it was the best nest ever.
06:19Outside, a cold wind blew another apple off the tree, but it didn't fall on Hedgehog.
06:26She was safe in her nest, and fast, fast asleep.
