00:31The loudest sounds of household appliances

00:34can be heard in this small house in Tayaba, Quezon.

00:38The husband and wife, Martonel and Andrea,

00:41are both deaf and mute.

00:43But in spite of their quiet world,

00:45their love for their two children is shouting.

00:51In spite of their marriage,

00:53Martonel is determined to work as a garbage collector.

00:58I want to support them

01:03so that they can buy food and other things they need

01:06so that they can grow up.

01:09It's normal and normal for their eldest son to be able to speak

01:13and for the parents to be able to understand.

01:16He learned sign language with the help of his father.

01:20The GMA Kapuso Foundation gave importance

01:23to the resilience and hard work shown by Martonel.

01:27We visited his family,

01:29brought him grocery packs

01:31and to make sure that they are healthy,

01:34we accompanied them to visit the mobile health service of Tayaba City.

01:39We also brought a professional sign language interpreter

01:43so that we can better understand them.

01:45Sir Martonel only has tonsillopharyngitis.

01:50His wife only has back pain.

01:54So we gave him antibiotics and vitamins.

01:59And then we gave his mother pain reliever.

02:02Kapuso, Martonel is one of those people

02:04who is determined to continue their life.
