00:00The farmers of Taytay, Palawan have been hit hard by the floods.

00:11So one of the affected barangays went there,

00:15which is hard to reach.

00:16Bik-Bik is the name of the place that you were sent to help.

00:21It is a mixture of sadness and joy that Michelle feels

00:29after her vegetables were damaged by the bad weather.

00:34This is their only livelihood.

00:38This is where we earn our daily income from our gardening.

00:43This is where we earn our daily income.

00:45This is where our children's future is, just like their education.

00:49Michelle is not alone in this situation,

00:52because her fellow farmers in Barangay Kalawag, Taytay, Palawan

00:59are also affected by the floods.

01:02When the floods came,

01:05it was a big problem for our vegetables, because they were damaged.

01:10Habagat, or Southwest Monsoon,

01:12is the wind that comes from the south of Andorra.

01:15So when it comes, especially when it is enhanced,

01:18the first place that will be affected is the western section of our country,

01:22where Palawan is located.
