00:00Why don't we get into the lion chair, brought to you by BetMGM, and get to the taters.
00:10Last night, we rang the bell a ton with Jordan Alvarez, Jorge Soler, Christian Walker, late
00:18night at Dodger Stadium.
00:20Let's try to do it again, Scotty.
00:21We'll start in Chicago.
00:23I'm usually not one who wants to go after Zach Wheeler.
00:28That's usually not the guy that I want to go after on Tater Time, but when somebody's
00:335-for-13 off of Wheeler, and all five of those hits are home runs, I'll make an exception
00:39for it.
00:40Cody Bellinger, 5-for-13 with five homers in his career off of Wheeler, plus 5.50 for
00:46Cody tonight to start Tater Time off for us.
00:51Five hits against him in 13 at bats, and all five are dingers.
00:55I mean, it is salty Tater Time right here.
01:01You can't ignore that, and Bellinger hasn't even been hitting that well lately.
01:05He did have an RBI double last night, but that's just, you can't ignore when your guy's
01:11got five homers off of somebody.
01:13Next, Alex Bregman for the Astros in Toronto, facing our boy, Cocucci tonight, Scotty, 7-for-18
01:23with two homers in his career off of Cocucci, and look at this fat price we're getting.
01:28Plus 6.00, 6-to-1 for Bregman tonight.
01:32Let's go, Cocucci.
01:33Throw him a gopher ball.
01:35You know, and he has been throwing gopher balls, and the Astros are on fuego.
01:44All I know is, I love that bet as well.
01:46The little fella can get some pop going tonight.
01:50Let's go.
01:51Let's go.
01:52He's due, baby.
01:53Next, down to Arlington.
01:54Padres and the Rangers getting together again, and Manny Machado has seen John Gray quite
02:00a lot in his career.
02:01Of course, when he was back in Colorado, he saw him quite frequently.
02:04How's 11-for-33 with four home runs in his career off of John Gray, and you're giving
02:10me plus 4.25, which is usually a nice Machado sweet spot.
02:14Let's get Manny big fly down in Arlington tonight at that price.
02:18Yeah, I think so, and here's why.
02:20My buddy is actually vacationing in San Diego, and I said, where are you staying?
02:27He said, I'm right across the street from Petco.
02:29I said, they're out of town.
02:32He's like, I don't care.
02:34I'm here for the food and the beach.
02:35That's why you got a room there.
02:36That's why you got a room.
02:37So that's why, maybe, but that's why maybe Machado will hit one and ring the bell for
02:42us tonight, because they're not even playing at the home of the best soft-serve ice cream
02:46in the majors.
02:47No, they are not.
02:49Next, we will go to Colorado.
02:51Milwaukee is still there.
02:52I got Yelich on Sunday.
02:54We have not been able to get him yet in this series at Coors Field, but maybe Dakota Hudson
02:59is what we need.
03:01Yelich, 5-for-12 with two homers in his career off of Hudson, plus 400 for him tonight.
03:07Let's go big fly, Christian.
03:09Yeah, I mean, what is it?
03:11Like three nights a week, I'm betting on this guy to hit a home run.
03:14You know, when I think of that lineup, I always think of Yelich, and give me that 400.
03:19That's what I'm talking about.
03:21Let's get it tonight in the thin air.
03:24Last night, of course, we wanted a lot of taters in the White Sox-Guardian game in Cleveland.
03:29There was a lot of taters.
03:30Had a couple of add-ons.
03:31We're going to try to go after it again tonight, this time with Jose Ramirez.
03:35Let's take one of the best home run hitters on the board in that game.
03:38Fedde gives up a bunch of home runs.
03:40Ramirez has been very hot, of course, this year, and you're giving me plus 375 for him tonight.
03:46More power, of course, from the left side, which is where he'll be with Fedde on the mound.
03:50Let's go to Ramirez.
03:52Have you ever seen anything like the way this guy turns on pitches on both sides of the play?
03:57But he definitely has more power on the left side and jacks home runs.
04:01I am all for this bet.
04:04All for that, indeed.
04:05And finally, I usually don't go back-to-back with the same guy, but this guy is so good
04:13at Dodger Stadium, and he did it in May.
04:16Homer two nights in a row.
04:17He's got three homers at Dodger Stadium this year.
04:20He's got 15 in 40 career games at Dodger Stadium.
04:24Christian Walker absolutely loves this place, and he has paid me off enough that I will
04:30go right back to the well tonight.
04:31Plus 450 for Christian Walker.
04:34I'm not scared of Gavin Stone, whoever you want to throw.
04:37It doesn't matter.
04:39Let's ring it again, Christian.
04:41My man owns the ravine.
04:44He loves the temperatures, outdoor, nighttime, Lipstick City, Dodger Stadium, Dodger Dogs,
04:50and long fly balls.
04:53Indeed.
04:54So there you go.
04:55A little Tater Time six-pack for you on a full baseball night.
05:00Bregman, Machado, Yellich, Ramirez, and Christian Walker.
05:05Big flies, indeed.
05:06All right.
05:07Before we leave the lion's share, I did want to give you an updated look at both the Cy
05:11Youngs.
05:12Why?
05:13First of all, Scooble pitched last night for Detroit, and I think he pitched that great,
05:18to be quite honest with you, Scottie.
05:19They did lose that game to the Twins.
05:22He left with a tied 2-2.
05:23Scooble still the favorite.
05:25Plus 180 for the AL Cy Young right now.
05:27Corbin Burns at plus 250.
05:29Your boy Garrett, don't call me Davey Crockett, who the White Sox are looking to trade.
05:35Now 8-1 for the Cy Young with Logan Gilbert and all the other Mariner guys behind him
05:40at 12.
05:42Your boy Gilbert Grape is on the list.
05:45Seth Lugo's having a great year, no doubt about it.
05:48I wouldn't argue with Scooble at this point.
05:51Even last night, he gives up two runs.
05:54I'll take that six ways till Sunday.
05:58And we give you the National League ones today because the favorite is going tonight.
06:03We mentioned Zach Wheeler.
06:04We hope that he gives up a homer to Cody Bellinger, but he is the favorite at 2-1 right now on
06:09the NL side.
06:10Chris Sale at plus 350.
06:12Tyler Glass now at plus 550.
06:14Ranger Danger Suarez and Max Freed.
06:16And I now see him, Scottie.
06:19Every time I open up that page, I look to see how close to the top has Skeen's gotten.
06:26Well, he is now 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
06:29He is now in the top 10.
06:30He's number 10 on the list at 30-1.
06:33He was 300-1 when he got called up.
06:36He's 30-1 now for the NL Cy Young.
06:40Tell me he isn't the most exciting pitcher in baseball.
06:44If that was the award, I think he would absolutely win.
06:47I think he would win if he's the most exciting in the baseball.
06:51I'm not sure he'll get this this year.
06:53I think he'll win one in his career.
06:55Maybe multiple ones in his career.
06:57I think he's probably just going to have to settle for Rookie of the Year this year.
07:01But maybe he'll prove me wrong and keep throwing seven innings and nine strikeouts every single
07:06night.
07:07That's going to move him even higher up the list.
07:09Honestly, like, you know, I've heard it go from, is he going to make the All-Star Game?
07:15Well, of course he's going to make the All-Star Game.
07:17Is he going to start the All-Star Game is the question.
07:21Now people would love that.
07:23And that's what the All-Star Game should be about.
07:25It should be about fun.
07:28And what do the people want to see?
07:30Nothing against Zach Wheeler or any of these other guys.
07:34But I'd rather have the kid go out there and start the All-Star Game for the National League.
07:40And you know what?
07:41I think baseball would love it, too, because all eyes would be on it.
07:43They'd want to see Skeen face it.
07:45How about Skeens and Judge in the first inning of the All-Star Game?
07:49Let's go.
07:50And I want to see, and I want to see Elie DeLaCruz.
07:53Like baseball's got to give us what we want to see.
07:56These are the most exciting players in the game, Otani, all the rest.
08:01But I want to see those kids.
08:04They're phenomenal.
08:05And that's what I think baseball needs, that shot in the arm of some new juice.
