00:00A tonne-tonne-tonne of sulphur dioxide was released on Mount Canloon on the last date of PHIVOLCS,
00:08at 5,083 tonnes of sulphur dioxide was released by the volcano yesterday,
00:14or less than 5,397 tonnes on June 28.
00:19PHIVOLCS Director Teresito Bacolcol estimated that the water under the volcano might have boiled
00:25and volcanic gases or the movement of magma.
00:29One of the possible reasons is the movement of magma in the mouth of the volcano
00:34which was the cause of the release of gas.
00:37The Mount Canloon Volcano is still remaining at Alert Level 2
00:40or it could still erupt at any time.
00:43PHIVOLCS continues to remind the public to avoid
00:47approaching the 4km Permanent Danger Zone of the volcano
00:51to avoid any accident.
