05:59Welcome back.
06:20The month-long LGBTQ plus Pride celebration reached its grand finale on Sunday, as rainbow
06:25of revelers took to the streets of New York to participate in one of the most prominent
06:29parades.
06:30The varied celebrations served as both a celebration of joy and political protest, as participants
06:34recognized the community's achievements, while also calling attention to recent anti-LGBTQ
06:39plus legislation, such as the ban on transgender health care passed by Republican-led states.
06:44In addition to NYC's Pride march, the largest in the country, the city was also expected
06:49to host Sunday's Queer Liberation March, an activist-focused event that was launched five
06:53years ago over concerns that the month's conventional parade had become too corporate.
07:05In Bolivia, President Luis Alces rejects self-coup narrative promoted by the fascist right-wing.
07:11The president stressed on Sunday that what happened in the country on June 26 was a failed
07:15coup d'etat, and asked former President Evo Morales not to replicate the narrative of
07:19fascism, which not only denies it, but insists it was a self-coup planned by the government.
07:25On Sunday morning, during statements to a local radio station, Evo Morales, who had
07:29vehemently condemned the failed coup d'etat, admitted that he is confused about the coup.
07:33Despite this, he blamed Arce for committing a self-coup.
07:37After his criteria, the Minister of the Presidency, Maria Nea La Prada, made statements to the
07:41media and said that Evo Morales ended up joining the story of the coup of General Zúñiga
07:46and the fascist right-wing in denying the girly lasso.
07:53The President of Argentina, Javier Mele, defended this on the bill to lower the age of criminal
07:58responsibility to 13 years old that the government sent to Congress last Friday.

08:08up to 20 years of imprisonment for children and adolescents who would be incarcerated
08:12in special establishments or separate sections within the penitentiary complexes.
08:17Meanwhile, the Ministry of Justice explained a statement that the initiative seeks to combat
08:21the persistent growth of juvenile criminality, pointing out that organized crime takes advantage
08:26of children and adolescents to commit crimes without restrictions, evading in that way
08:31criminal responsibility.
08:39The Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Iván Gil, categorically rejected the statement issued
08:43on June 30 by Argentinean President Javier Mele, where he ignored the attempted coup
08:48of the time in Bolivia, further defeating the narrative created by the Latin American
08:52right-wing, which tries to deny the actions of criminals who tried to overthrow the legitimate
08:56president Luis Arce.
08:58In a statement posted on social media X, Gil stated this dark neo-Nazi character is used
09:06as a pawn of macabre interests that try to impose fascism as a political trend in our
09:11region through the ridiculous spokesmanship inflated by lies spread through social media
09:15and complicit media.
09:17The foreign minister added that Venezuela reiterates the call to condemn this and any
09:21other coup d'etat attempt in our Latin America, as was done unanimously by the South American
09:26countries, including by Argentina itself, a fact that unfortunately is not unknown by
09:32those who claim to govern this country.

11:49itself as the second-largest political force, surpassing President Emmanuel Macron's party,
11:53which collected 20.04% of the votes.

12:22face of the second round of legislative elections this coming weekend, in order to avoid the

12:35the slogan of his coalition, declaring their intentions to end, not a single step more
12:39to the extreme right.
12:41Mélenchon also indicated that the left will withdraw its candidate if he advances from
12:45third place to the second round, in order to stop the right.
12:49The recently formed New Popular Front brings together left-wing and progressive forces
12:53such as the Socialist Party, France Insoumise, Communist Party, and the Ecologists.
13:00A large crowd gathered on Sunday at Paris Place de la République set off fireworks
13:06and chanted as part of a protest against the far-right National Rally Party, which gained
13:10a strong lead in projections for the first round of legislative elections.
13:14French President Emmanuel Macron called the election by surprise just three weeks ago
13:18and has now urged voters to unite against the far-right.
13:21Projections indicate that the National Rally has a strong chance of winning a majority
13:25in the lower house of parliament for the first time, which is nearly double the 18% it won
13:29in the first round in 2022.
13:31With another intense week of campaigning ahead before the decisive final vote next Sunday,
