00:15some of the most awe-inspiring, and disturbing, moments in Elden Ring.
00:20Prepare for all of the spoilers!
00:50While seemingly untended and abandoned, Carrier Manor still held a certain elegance about it.
00:56Assuming you could get past the barrage of magic missiles guarding the front entrance.
01:00And that's when we realised we had just stepped into a house of horrors.
01:04And yes, it is entirely due to the Finger Creepers.
01:08These giant sentient ants flicker across the field like spiders,
01:20and the fact that we had to deal with so many was almost more than we could bear.
01:31Selen's Fate
01:39Should you happen to take a liking to Sorceress Selen, and why wouldn't you?
01:45She's essential for those who want to snag stronger spells.
01:48Then her questline is going to take you all across the lands between.
01:52Hunting down rare items, reclaiming her body, all in the hope of freeing her from scrutiny,
01:57and allowing her to continue her studies.
02:08This turns out to be a fatal decision on her part,
02:11as delving into the limits of magic leaves the once beguiling teacher
02:15as a misshapen monstrosity known as a school of graven mages.
02:19That's unfortunate.
02:29City of Ash
02:38The results of Mileena setting fire to the Erg Tree by sacrificing herself
02:42weren't only the tears of many a Tarnished who lamented her loss.
02:46The fallout also submerged the golden capital of Laendel in ashes.
02:50It's a harrowing sight, with the environment now completely shifted.
03:02It certainly paints an eerie picture as to the weight of what has been forfeit
03:06to afford one chance to become Elden Lord.
03:09We're guessing for those that were buried under a sea of ash,
03:11the weight was a tad too heavy to bear.

03:33What better indication that the second phases of Elden Ring's bosses
03:36were going to be bonkers than watching a multi-limbed monster
03:39chop off one of his arms with an axe,
03:41stuff it into a dragon's head,
03:43and bring it back to life to use as his own personal flamethrower?
03:54Koltric may be a lot of things, none of them good,
03:57but we have to give him credit for being such a showman.
04:00This was such a gnarly display that we're pretty sure his forefathers
04:03were, at the very least, taking notice.
04:16The End of Blythe
04:24Rani's questline is rightly touted as the best in the game.
04:27It's rich with lore, leads to the most satisfying ending,
04:30has the best souls waifu of the bunch,
04:32and introduces some fun NPCs to interact with,
04:35chief among them being Blythe the Half-Wolf, your fluffy bro in arms.
04:39You'd think after assisting Rani with her plans to create the Age of Stars,
04:43things would be peachy.
04:54However, should you return to Rana's Rise,
04:56you'll find Blythe there, gone feral due to his mind being broken
04:59by the two fingers over his conflicting loyalty,
05:02forcing you to put down the best boy yourself.
05:11Enter the Lich Dragon.
05:14It started with a hug,
05:16and somehow ended with us fighting an undead dragon inside of a dream,
05:20because of course it did.
05:22F.E.A.R.'s questline is all about death, and those who live within it.
05:26Should you fulfil what she asks and bring both curse marks of death to her,
05:30you'll not only earn yourself a second embrace,
05:32but also an unexpected boss fight.
05:44Lich Dragon Fortisaxx is no joke,
05:47but if you want that bleak ending and, more importantly, to make F.E.A.R. happy,
05:51you're gonna have to duke it out.

06:02Rykard's true form.
06:12After dealing with the craziness found in Volcano Manor alone,
06:16you'd think we'd be prepared for whatever the game threw at us next.
06:19And then we met Rykard.
06:21First appearing as the world-devouring serpent,
06:24the boss fight, while hectic, is still just a giant snake,
06:27a FromSoft staple.
06:29Then the second phase starts, and that's when things get weird.
06:39Turns out Rykard was using the snake's body as a host,
06:42with both his limbs and weapon lurking inside it.
06:45Pair his unsettling appearance with a haunting voice,
06:48and you have the very image of Nightmare Fuel.
07:00Margit is alive.
07:12While each of the demigods made a lasting impression in their own way,
07:15there's only one that received a grandiose encore.
07:18After initially killing him early on during the game's first act,
07:21Margit appears once again before we can enter the Urn Tree.
07:24It's there he reveals himself as Morgoth,
07:27who, while deformed due to the Omen Curse,
07:29is still very much a son of Marica,
07:31with the divine strength to prove it.
07:43As the Omen King, not only does he show himself to be one of the toughest bosses in the Pantheon,
07:48but paints himself as one of its most tragic figures.
07:58The Fire Giant.
08:08In hindsight, we should have probably known an area known as the Mountaintop of the Giants
08:12would be host to the last of its kind.
08:14But even then, nothing could have prepared us for how epic and intimidating
08:18this red bearded beast truly was.
08:21Its design, the size and scale, all of it immense.
08:25And that's before it gets mad and starts to conjure ancient fire magic.
08:38And just in case you still weren't impressed,
08:40its second phase reveals that it's got another face inside its torso.
08:44Miyazaki never fails to amaze and confound.
08:49Radagon is Marica.
09:00Elden Ring's ultimate twist.
09:02Whether you solved the mystery by pursuing Goldmask's questline,
09:06or waited right up until the final battle,
09:08the fact that Queen Marica and her consort Radagon are one and the same person
09:12is a rug pull that will never be forgotten.
09:18Something that no one could have predicted.
09:29You barely get a moment to contemplate how that's even possible,
09:32given that the two have children together,
09:34before the boss battle kicks off with Radagon going full hammer time.
09:38It's stuck with us to this day,
09:40further deepening the mystery, depravity and intrigue surrounding Marica's royal lineage.
