00:00So as ever, it has been a very busy week in the city of Bristol. So Charlie, can you tell
00:05me what is the top news story in the city this week?
00:09So our top story this week is that a group of long-term van dwellers on a beauty spot
00:16in the city have been given two weeks' notice to move on by the City Council. So an enforcement
00:24note has been stuck to a number of the caravans and vehicles along Parry's Lane, which runs
00:32through the dams. And the notice says that the encampment, which has been there for a
00:37number of years now, has been reassessed as high impact and therefore must relocate.
00:47Thank you, Charlie. So we will see how that one pans out in the coming weeks. Let's move
00:53on to our second top news story in the city. Tell me a little bit about that.
00:58Next is that a police station in the city has announced it is closing to the public
01:04for the majority of the summer. So it's the Fish Ponds Police Station on Fish Ponds Road.
01:13And Avon and Somerset Police say they are currently unable to confirm an exact reopening
01:20date for the inquiry office. They've not given a reason for the closure, but they said
01:27it will be open at selected times over the summer.
01:31Thank you, Charlie. So should we move on to our final top news story in the city this
01:36week? Tell me about that.
01:39Finally is that a pub on the edge of the city has announced it is finally reopening after
01:46being closed for almost four years now. So it's the Down End Tavern, which shut in November
01:522020, and it's been taken on by two brothers, Larry and Pat Curran.
