00:00So as ever it has been a very busy week in the city of Bristol, so can you tell me what is the top news story in the city this week?
00:09Well, the number of van dwellers at Beatlesport in Bristol has drastically shrunk after actions taken by the City Council to tackle the long-standing encampment.
00:23They were given 14 days to vacate the area or threatened with legal action and it appears that many are now abiding by the order and only four caravans now remain at Parry's Lane.
00:36Thank you. So shall we move on to our second hot news story? Tell me about that.
00:42Bristol International Balloon Fiesta has revealed this year's official line-up of special shaped hot air balloons.
00:50The Fiesta goers will have the chance to witness at least 14 special balloons across the three-day weekend in the main arena at Ashton Core Estate from August 9 to 11.
01:04The balloons include Action Man, Astro the Alien, Daisy the Cow, Maxwell House Coffee Jar and an Orange Slice among many others.
01:16So that is a very exciting one for the city and an iconic event for everybody in Bristol. So shall we move on to our final top story? Tell me about that.
01:27Bristol's annual Pride Day is set to return on Saturday. The March parade will be kicking off from the bandstand end of Castle Park at 10.45am before making its way through the city centre and on to Lloyd's Amphitheatre.
01:46There will be a wide range of activities and performances at the dance including Headliner Human League.
01:53So that is looking to be a very exciting celebration in the city.
