00:00So as ever, it's been a very busy week in the city of Bristol, so can you tell me, what is the top news story in the city this week?
00:09Well, Bristol Pub has reopened after almost four years. The Downand Tavern in Downand Road closed its doors back in November 2020.
00:21It has now been taken on by brothers Pat and Larry Kirwan. The venue has received total refurbishment within three weeks and is now open.
00:32Thank you, so that is a very exciting one for the hospitality industry in the city. So can you tell me, what is the second top news story? Tell me about that.
00:42Well, Mucks and Spencers will be returning to the city centre with a new flagship store in Bristol's Cabot Circus.
00:52This follows after the M&S store closed its store in Broadmead in 2022 after running for 70 years.
01:02The new store will be replacing House of Fraser and is anticipated to create around 150 new jobs and is part of the retailer's store rotation strategy.

01:26We the Curious has reopened to the public this week after being closed for two years due to a devastating fire.
01:34The Science Museum at Millennium Square reopened with more than 200 eye-opening things to do across two floors.
01:44All of the favourite exhibits are there to welcome people back along with a whole new host of new bits such as new planetarium shows, a new programme of activities and a refreshed foyer, cafe and shop.
