00:00 Hello, good evening. There's some heavy rain to come for many northeastern areas through
00:04 the rest of the night. But it is turning drier from the west for the next few days, leading
00:09 us into a fine weekend. But a further risk of thunderstorms across Scotland, and then
00:13 that rain will push into eastern areas of northern England. There's a yellow rain warning
00:17 in force here through the rest of the night, some very heavy rain and possibly some localised
00:22 flooding by the morning is possible for parts of northern England, southeastern Scotland
00:26 as well. We'll also see some rain push into parts of Wales, possibly into southwestern
00:30 England as well. So many at risk of a heavy shower through tonight. But across the south
00:34 and east, it will turn much drier and clearer through the night. We could see some mist
00:38 and fog around by tomorrow morning as well. Temperatures similar to last night, to northerly
00:43 wind is quite a brisk breeze. So I think that should hold temperatures up, but it will still
00:46 be a fairly fresh start to the day on Thursday with limited sunshine. Still another showery
00:53 day to come on Thursday. Low pressure is still close by and this occluded front will bring
00:57 a band of showery rain to central areas to start the day. So a cloudy and fairly damp
01:03 start for parts of Wales, central areas of England into the east as well. And as the
01:07 afternoon progresses, the rain will become increasingly focused across southeastern areas,
01:12 whereas in the west it will turn much drier and brighter through the day as high pressure
01:16 is slowly starting to build in for the end of the week. So in the sunshine, it won't
01:21 feel too bad. But as I said, we do have this northerly wind. So if you are across any north
01:25 facing coasts on the mountains at all, you will feel a bit of a chill in the air from
01:30 that northerly wind. But UV levels will still be high in any sunshine across western areas.
01:36 Now the rain continues to push eastwards through Thursday night and into Friday morning, and
01:40 it will turn much drier and clearer by the time we get to the start of Friday. So it's
01:44 likely to be a fairly bright start to the end of the week. With clearer skies, it will
01:49 be a slightly cooler night on Thursday night, temperatures dipping down into single figures
01:53 for many of us. But I think once the sun comes up, it should warm up quite quickly. There
01:58 is still this northerly wind bringing that chillier feel, and it will actually feel fairly
02:02 cool across the east coast where it stays quite wet through the day on Friday. A different
02:07 story though, further west with plenty of sunshine, particularly in the morning, I think
02:11 the sunshine will turn a bit hazier. Skies will turn a bit cloudier as we head into the
02:15 afternoon for some areas, but parts of Northern Ireland, western Wales, parts of Cornwall
02:21 as well. It should stay fairly dry and bright and it will feel fairly warm in that sunshine.
02:26 Temperatures up into the low 20s for some of us. But as I said, still a fairly cool
02:30 feel across the south and east, lasting for much of Friday. The rain will gradually clear
02:37 away from the east though as we head towards the weekend, and that's because this area
02:40 of high pressure is becoming more widespread for the weekend, pushing in from the west,
02:46 bringing many of us a dry and fine upcoming weekend. But if you'd like any more details

02:55 Thanks for joining me. Bye-bye.
02:56 Thank you.
