KLIA shooting: Court sets case for mention on June 30

The Kota Baru Sessions Court on Thursday (May 23) fixed June 30 for the mention of a case involving a travel agency manager facing seven charges, including possession of firearms.

38-year-old Hafizul Harawi who was allegedly involved in the shooting incident at the KL International Airport Terminal 1 (KLIA 1) on April 14, had pleaded not guilty to the charges.

00:51 Last April 24, Hafizul pleaded not guilty at the Kotah Baru Sessions Court to the seven
00:57 charges.
00:58 Among the charges were illegally possessing a Glock 19 Austria pistol, in possession of
01:04 bullets without a valid license, in possession of ball-shaped firecrackers without a permit,
01:09 driving a car with a fake registration number.
01:12 All the offenses were allegedly committed on April 15.
