00:00 >> [INAUDIBLE]
00:10 >> Like you said, he's always ready.
00:21 I think there's a lot of guys on our team that have that in them.
00:24 They work super hard.
00:25 They know the opportunity is coming.
00:27 They just wanna be as ready for it as possible, Isaiah was tonight for sure.
00:31 He played great.
00:32 >> What do you see from Trey tonight?
00:34 Just his continued growth?
00:37 >> Yeah, I think he's getting more comfortable every game, for sure.
00:41 We know his games feel some stuff you can't teach.
00:44 That was just about him getting comfortable and you guys have seen him.
00:47 >> He said that you guys went through a post practice shooting drill the other day
00:51 where first he was rebounding for you and then you rebounded for him and
00:54 showed a thrill.
00:56 What made you wanna do that sort of like take him under your wing like that?
01:00 >> I was just so I was trying to get better and
01:04 then he was there so I wanted him to get better.
01:09 But yeah, I do it from time to time.
01:13 I've done that with Isaiah before.
01:15 I'll do that with guys that I think, you know what I'm saying?
01:18 I can work out with and show something.
01:21 Yeah, and Trey was after practice, wanted to get some work in and
01:24 I was like, I'm gonna go get some work in.
01:26 >> Nice to be able to turn around and know you're gonna face this team again on
01:29 Wednesday, get a second crack at them kind of immediately like this.
01:32 >> Absolutely.
01:33 We let one slip tonight.
01:37 Didn't perform as well as we wanted to.
01:39 But like you said, we get another shot at it Wednesday.
01:40 >> So sorry, one more for me about Trey.
01:44 Mark has been saying that he's almost like a begging him to shoot the ball,
01:48 keeps encouraging him to shoot.
01:50 And Trey was saying that he's a little hesitant as a rookie to get that many shots.
01:59 So I'm like, can you sort of relate to that struggle just coming in as a young guy
02:04 and not trying to do too much but also trying to push him to the other team?
02:09 >> Yeah, for sure.
02:11 I think Trey's like every young basketball player trying to find
02:16 a balance between shooting, passing, just making the right play.
02:21 But like I said earlier, I think he's getting more comfortable with it.
02:24 I mean, shooting his shots, good shots that are good for the team.
02:29 That's what ultimately comes down to and I think he's figuring it out over again.
02:32 >> So you mentioned feeling like you already let one slip tonight.
02:36 As you're kind of coming into your own emerging more and more as a leader,
02:40 are you recognizing the ways that you like to respond in moments like this?
02:45 Do you like to do personally ways you can help the team moving forward after
02:49 the next slip this?
02:51 >> Yeah, for sure.
02:52 I think that's every night.
02:53 Every night I reflect, I look back, just what I could have done better that night.
02:58 Obviously, for the mini game, no one's perfect.
03:01 Everyone makes mistakes and just try to get better from it.
03:04 >> In the three point shot, is it working?
03:05 How hard is it to stay away from it, hoping the next one's gonna go in?
03:10 >> Yeah, I think it's obviously frustrating, tough.
03:16 But at the end of the day, all you can do is trust your work.
03:20 I think if we shoot good shots that are good for our team, like I've said,
03:23 then everything else will just fall into place.
03:26 We have, obviously, everyone has bad nights.
03:29 But if we shoot shots that are good for our team, that we're comfortable shooting,
03:33 we wanna shoot, and they don't go in and we lose, and we lost at least on our terms.
03:38 >> Take one from the Zoom, Christos Soltis, go ahead with your question, Christos.
03:42 [BLANK_AUDIO]
03:45 >> Hey, Shea, hope you're doing well.
03:47 What do you see on Robby's and Mann's game tonight, and the step up that they made?
03:53 And how important for
03:54 you guys is to see different players made step up every night?
03:58 >> Yeah, both of them played good tonight.
04:02 And they're ready to go as soon as they get thrown into the game,
04:05 contributed big ways tonight.
04:07 Like I've said, that's a lot of guys on our team.
04:11 We've got a group of guys that work super hard, and
04:14 are ready for the opportunity when it comes to perform.
04:17 >> Thank you, Shea.
04:19 >> Thank you, Shea.
04:20 >> Yep.
