00:03 >> Nick Gallo, KC Thunder.com.
00:06 Lou, what maybe helped change the momentum in that third quarter and
00:10 into the fourth?
00:12 Do you think there were any kind of catalyst moments?
00:14 >> Yeah, I mean, I just felt like we had to bring up the intensity.
00:17 I felt like K Rich and me just picking up the ball full court kind of helped,
00:23 just bringing the momentum up.
00:26 And I mean, it just was a team effort just to make the right plays and
00:31 the right reads.
00:32 >> Okay, speaking of that full court pressure, you all were able to make
00:37 a big play that charge for Io there in I think the fourth quarter to foul him out.
00:43 Take me through that sequence and
00:45 just your mindset maybe trying to speed up a rookie.
00:48 >> Yeah, so he had it going this game.
00:52 I was just trying to pressure up a little bit and
00:54 we was gonna read, I mean, we was gonna switch everything anyway.
00:58 So he kind of had me beat but I knew K Rich had my back.
01:01 So I just switched on to a hit guy and K Rich just made a great play.
01:04 >> Paris Lawson, okcthunder.com.
01:07 Wanted to ask you a similar question,
01:09 just the defensive pressure in that fourth quarter amped up for you guys.
01:13 Just was that a directive from the sideline or
01:16 was that just like the flow of the game, the rhythm of the game?
01:19 >> Yeah, at first it started with K Rich.
01:21 K Rich just said that's on and then just me seeing him do it.
01:24 I'm like, yeah, I know I can do that too.
01:26 So I did it and then just coach just on the sideline just was encouraged that just
01:31 telling us come on, do it, do it.
01:33 And I felt like that's what we gotta do,
01:36 just set that example just to start the momentum going.
01:40 >> And then wanted to ask you, but
01:41 obviously you guys have had a lot of comebacks this season, a lot of comeback
01:45 efforts, this one down 28 points.
01:47 What's the mentality just to shake off the fact that it's such a big deficit?
01:51 And push the way you guys did in the fourth quarter?
01:54 >> I mean, it's a 48 minute game and we just gotta stay together.
01:58 I mean, it's just the whole team, we know we capable of coming backs and
02:02 we just, when it's not going our way, we just gotta stay together and
02:05 just keep competing and then the stuff's offensively it's gonna fall.
02:09 And I felt like that's what we did tonight.
02:11 >> Anyone else in the room?
02:13 All right, we got two questions on the Zoom, Lou.
02:15 Start with Christos Alphets, go ahead with your question, Christos.
02:19 Hey, Lou, hope you're doing well.
02:21 What are the good habits on your game in fourth quarter and
02:25 how important is to maintain that effort to the next games?
02:28 >> Just really just stay in mind, stay playing my game,
02:32 not trying to do too much in the system.
02:35 Just make it a rivalry for my teammates and
02:38 just bring a lot of intensity defensively.
02:41 And that's what I'll bring up to the next few games.
02:44 >> We got last question to Andrew Schlacht, go ahead with your question, Andrew.
02:49 [BLANK_AUDIO]
02:54 >> Yeah, well, you had that dunk with about four minutes left in the game.
02:59 I'm just curious what motivated you to throw it down rather than laying it up?
03:06 Still don't have a ton of dunks on the season, just curious.
03:09 >> I mean, it was just a good read, and we was moving the ball really well.
03:15 And Ty had the ball driving at the spot, like I was just reading my guy.
03:19 And I felt like it was good to have a backdoor.
03:21 So I just went and he threw me a good pass and I just went up.
03:24 And I just happened to be up there and just dunked it.
03:27 So I mean, even that, some plays like that just build momentum.
03:31 And I felt like that was one of the things that I could bring to the scene,
03:35 just to bring intensity up.
03:37 >> Yeah, and I just wanted your thoughts on the small lineup that you closed with.
03:42 You guys haven't played that lineup so far this season, I'm just curious.
03:45 >> Yeah, I mean, we're trying a lot of stuff.
03:49 I felt like that was good, that coach went to that.
03:51 I felt like it was easy for us just to switch everything.
03:53 And I mean, I felt like it kind of helped.
03:55 There was kind of confused, they didn't know what was coming.
03:58 And I mean, we just did a good job scrambling and just finding the open guy.
04:01 >> Thank you.
