00:00Jading down that one point, that's make it a bad point.
00:05Yeah, same thing as every night to 48 minute game.
00:10It's one of the things we talk about every day, almost every day.
00:15Whether we're up or down, we have a standard that we wanna play by.
00:22And I guess that's why you see the guys, the comebacks.
00:28Next step is just putting the full 48 together.
00:33To have a comeback, you have to go down big.
00:35So try not to go down big is the next step.
00:38You mentioned that your pace of play tonight really played a factor in your
00:42ability to get to the rim with the double teams.
00:44And there was a trap there.
00:46How big of an emphasis was it for you personally?
00:53Yeah, it just makes the game easier.
00:56Play faster, kind of attack early, playing in transition.
01:04Just makes it harder for the defense to load and play with multiple defenders.
01:12The team in that third quarter, is there anything you saw at halftime or
01:16maybe after that timeout?
01:20I just wanted to be aggressive.
01:31I think we were down big at that point.
01:35And I kind of know if we didn't turn it around or
01:38try to be aggressive right now, that game is gonna get out of hand.
01:41We wouldn't get a chance to win.
01:43So just try to be aggressive, try to make the right basketball play.
01:46And fortunately, we're able to get back in the game.
01:49Do you have confidence in your score?
01:54I know before you said maybe it was a coincidence,
01:57but is there something to that that feels now that happens?
02:03How does that affect both of you?
02:07I think it's just feeling the game, feeling the game out.
02:11A lot of different defenses I've thrown my way.
02:16And then the first half is, I guess, me feeling out how I can attack it.
02:22Obviously, every defense has a way to attack it.
02:24And I try to do so in the second half.
02:28How do you think that lost end-to-end play unfolded?
02:31Mark said it was the same thing as the draft.
02:37What would you say to that?
02:43I was in the heat of it.
02:46So I don't really know what happened besides we just turned the ball over,
02:52unfortunately.
02:56But, yeah, I'm gonna go back and watch it for sure when I watch film
02:59and figure it out.
03:01But with that being said, obviously, it didn't work out.
03:05I think guys on the floor that were making the plays had the right intentions.
03:10Josh is obviously probably our best facilitator, passer.
03:15We trust him in and bounce for sure.
03:18So you had like three or four plays tonight
03:20where you weren't helping defense.
03:21You just kind of deflected the ball when they did it.
03:23You were trying to take like a backdoor cut and just there deflect it.
03:26Was that something you were anticipating throughout the game?
03:28Or do you kind of know coming into it
03:30that that opportunity might be there for you tonight?
03:33Yeah, I just try to be in the right spot.
03:36Try to be early to the right spot.
03:39So I'm not trailing the offense.
03:42And I just try to make a play on the balls I can make a play on
03:45and help team defense.
03:47Anyone else in the room?
03:49We've got one on the Zoom.
03:50Christos Salvas.
03:51Go ahead with your question, Christos.
03:53Hey, Shea.
03:54Hope you're doing well.
03:55Speaking about the level of your game at this point of the season,
03:58how do you feel about that, about the level that you play for your team?
04:02And also, what would you like to want to improve as a team detail-wise
04:08for the rest of the season?
04:10Yeah, just continue to get better on both ends of the floor.
04:15We're so young.
04:17The guys are learning every day.
04:20And we feel ourselves getting better.
04:22It's just continuing on the same path.
04:25And eventually one day we'll be where we want to be.
04:29Thank you, Shea.
04:30That's a wrap for Thunderville tonight.
04:32We appreciate everyone.
04:33We'll see you tomorrow.
