00:00 You left it all on the floor tonight, I guess.
00:02 Everything.
00:04 What'd you think?
00:05 You always talk about how much fun it is to watch Shea.
00:08 Just what did you think of the way he attacked
00:11 and just picked apart the defense?
00:14 I don't know. It's just -- It's fun watching him.
00:17 It's crazy, but, you know,
00:19 I still got to be engaged in the game.
00:21 So, like, it's more fun when I'm on the bench watching him.
00:24 But it's just amazing what he can do, how he do it.
00:28 I don't know, but it's always fun to watch him do what he does.
00:32 And then, you know, their team, they came in,
00:34 they lead the league in and ones, the Kings.
00:37 I mean, they were seventh in free-throw attempts.
00:39 They just seemed to have a knack for getting to the line.
00:42 What were some of the challenges tonight
00:43 in trying to defend them without fouling?
00:46 It was very challenging for us.
00:49 How many free throws you said they had?
00:52 I don't know how many they had,
00:53 but they lead the league in and ones.
00:55 They came in with 168.
00:58 It seemed like every trip down,
00:59 it was getting fouled and getting to the line.
01:03 But it was tough, especially having to deal
01:04 with Sabonis in the post.
01:06 So we were trying to trap him.
01:08 But they were great at cutting.
01:10 And then once you cut, you know, it was shot-baking.
01:13 You know, we were in there trying to dig the ball out.
01:15 But, I mean, it was very tough defending them
01:18 and them getting to the line.
01:20 You know, it really helped them a lot.
01:23 Paris Lawson, OKCThunder.com.
01:25 Outside of the free throws,
01:26 it seemed like it was a really fast-paced game,
01:28 you guys going back and forth.
01:29 Just how did that feel out there for you guys
01:31 just in terms of being in that sort of game?
01:33 You guys had 21 fast break points in this one, too.
01:36 It was tough.
01:38 You know, every chance they got, they got it out and went quick.
01:41 So they had a lot of transition points.
01:43 That was one of the keys that we talked about at halftime
01:46 that we had to get better at was the transition
01:48 because they got it out on makes and misses
01:50 and was pushing.
01:51 A couple times, we weren't matched.
01:53 You know, they were good at that.
01:54 And then we were trying to do the same thing.
01:56 And it was back and forth.
02:00 I guess they did a little bit better than us tonight.
02:02 And I wanted to ask you, as a guy who's, you know,
02:04 spent time with the Blue this season,
02:06 just seeing a guy like Olivier
02:08 and step into some extended minutes tonight
02:10 and knock down a three-pointer,
02:11 just what did you think of that?
02:13 I feel like you just got to be ready at all times.
02:17 Like, he was ready tonight.
02:19 He came out there.
02:20 Isaiah had fouls quick,
02:22 so he was able to get more minutes.
02:23 And he just showed that he stayed ready.
02:25 I mean, that's what it's about in this league,
02:28 just staying ready.
02:29 Andrew Schleich, of The Athletic.
02:36 What have you learned about yourself through this stretch?
02:38 You've gotten a lot of opportunity to take shots.
02:40 You lead the rookie class
02:41 and made threes in the month of February.
02:43 You know, what are the kind of things
02:45 that you've learned about yourself?
02:47 That I could -- I got a little bit of playmaking in.
02:52 I've been taking care of the ball pretty much until tonight.
02:57 I mean, I think I had three turnovers.
02:58 But just my ability to make plays when I'm on the ball
03:02 and then me being able to score,
03:05 you know, I kind of show flashes of that.
03:06 But, I mean, it's coming out more with players injured.
03:10 So, I don't know.
03:11 I feel like I've just been showing off my playmaking
03:13 a lot more.
03:14 You came out pretty aggressive tonight, attacking the rim.
03:18 Is that just you feeling more comfortable out on the court
03:21 than you did at the beginning of the season?
03:22 Yeah, and a lot with me having to do it.
03:25 I mean, we got, you know, three of our top scorers out.
03:29 So, I got to score a little bit more than I was before.
03:33 So, I'm just coming out aggressive every night.
03:36 And I was able to get to the rim.
03:37 Joe Masato of The Oklahoma,
03:41 you talked about watching Shea play,
03:43 and specifically when you're on the bench
03:46 and seeing him play, like, what about his game
03:49 do you sort of, like, most admire
03:51 or appreciate when he's out there?
03:53 Just his pace.
03:54 Me and Williams was talking about it on the bench.
03:57 His pace is crazy. He was asking me a question.
03:58 He was like, "Do you think Shea is fast or, like, what?"
04:01 And I was like, "I mean, he don't really move fast.
04:04 It's just his pace."
04:05 And it's crazy, like, how he blow by the defenders,
04:07 but he's not moving fast.
04:08 He was like, "Yeah, like, you move faster."
04:10 But he, like, longer steps. I don't know.
04:13 We was just really talking about his pace.
04:15 His pace is crazy.
04:16 It seemed like they got him beat to a spot,
04:19 but he's just always got a counter move,
04:20 and he's just always getting to the rim,
04:22 and he has crazy finishes.
