00:00Nick Gallo, KC Thunder dot com. Shay, what did you feel out on the floor in
00:04that second half? Just the way you all continued to put pressure on them and
00:08run through the finish line tonight. Um,
00:12we fought, we competed, played together for sure.
00:19That everything went our way tonight. Shots in the fall. Open ones. Good ones.
00:21They made a lot of shots. Um, but we competed and we played together for
00:25sure. Um, that's all you can ask for. How? How much of a confidence booster
00:30enhancer? I don't know. Is it to go into a game like having to play small
00:36because of injuries and being able to hold your own in the paint to see bays
00:40and poku and these guys deal with the go bear matchup. And I think you all
00:44dominated the paint plus 24 or something like that. And guys had
00:48double doubles and that kind of thing. Yeah. Um, it just goes back to us
00:52competing. Um, not making any excuses. Next man up mentality. Um, and yeah,
00:59just try to compete, try to play the game that we love. Um, do everything we
01:02can to try to win the game.
01:06Here's awesome. Okay. See thunder dot com. Kind of along those same lines.
01:09You guys seem like you're able to take advantage of having a guy like basely
01:12stretch the floor, bring go bear out. Just how valuable was it to have him on
01:16that end of the floor and kind of utilize that to your advantage and get
01:19into the paint. Um, that's most, I think that's all our bigs. Um, so that
01:24was nothing new tonight. Um, all our base can shoot it. Um, and that's one
01:28of the things that helps us out there. Space the floor. Um, it kind of makes
01:32the shop office and bigger guys, um, stretch out of the paint. Um, yeah, it
01:37was no different with base. Same thing that we've been doing all year.
01:41Shay, what's your mindset when you're going against a rim protector like go
01:45bear? Yeah. Um,
01:48obviously he's very good at what he does. Um,
01:52just try to be aggressive, try to get to his body.
01:56And try to make the right basketball at the end of the day. Um, if it's gonna
01:59be a hard layup, it's not a good shot just because it's a layup. Um, try to
02:02make my best with that.
02:05Interselect of the athletic. Uh, you've been shooting a lot more mid range
02:09shots recently. I'm just curious, you know, as you added that tyrion, was
02:14was there anybody that you watched or tried to model that mid range game
02:16after? Um, no, not really. Um,
02:22it's a shot that I that I've had. I have. Um, I've just tried to get to a
02:27more, um, kind of finding a sweet spot. Um, and just shooting shots that I'm
02:32comfortable with. Um, and that I practice
02:34Yeah.
02:42Hey, I hope you're doing well. Do you feel with your performance since the
02:46ulcer break that you establish yourself as one of the best guards in the league?
02:50How? How motivated you are to be one of the best guards in the league? Yeah,
02:55I'm super motivated. Um, that's the reason why I picked up a basketball is
03:00to be one of the best in my position ever play. Um, and that doesn't
03:04change. No matter the circumstance motivates me every day and why I work
03:07as hard as I do.
03:09Yep, you're welcome.
