00:00 - [Michael] Michael, OKCThunder.com.
00:02 Shea, for most of that game,
00:03 you all were sort of executing right there
00:06 with them offensively, going toe to toe.
00:09 What did you like best about the way
00:11 that you all were able to generate offense
00:13 against a really high level opponent?
00:15 - Yeah, we were good enough today offensively.
00:18 I think we got good looks, played the right way,
00:22 and we were good enough as a result of that
00:27 as just defensively.
00:29 - You were able to find guys on a couple lobs
00:32 as you operated and pick and roll,
00:33 and it looked like you were almost,
00:35 I don't know, baiting like you were gonna
00:38 do one of your classic finger rolls,
00:40 but were able to kind of flick it up.
00:41 Is that, not that it's brand new,
00:43 but is that some nuance to your game
00:45 that you're able to pick out some of those passes
00:47 and disguise what you're doing
00:48 when you're in the middle of the floor?
00:50 - No, I didn't even think about it, just instinct.
00:54 - Paris Lawson, OKCThunder.com.
00:58 I wanted to ask you about Lindy's night.
01:00 He had a new career, a 16 point.
01:01 He assisted on a couple of his baskets.
01:03 Just overall, where have you seen,
01:04 it's only 10 games for him with you guys, with the Thunder.
01:07 Just where have you seen him get more comfortable,
01:09 and what did you see from him tonight?
01:11 - We all know what he does on the floor, and so does he.
01:16 He doesn't step outside of his boundaries.
01:20 He plays his game and plays it really well.
01:22 I think that's why you see consistency with him.
01:26 He's a really good player, and he for sure belongs.
01:28 - Joe Masato of The Oklahoma.
01:33 Shea, just with Lou, Mike, and Ty all having surgeries today,
01:38 just wanted to get your thoughts
01:39 on playing the rest of the season
01:41 without those guys in there.
01:42 - Yeah, it sucks.
01:45 Obviously, nobody wants to go through that.
01:50 We're there to support them,
01:51 and it's fun having those guys out there on the court,
01:55 competing, obviously.
01:56 But it is what it is.
01:58 It is the situation, and we have a lot of guys ready to go
02:03 compete and try to get games for the rest of the season.
02:07 - Just defensively, the presence that Lou has out there,
02:10 Ken Rich, Mark Dana also mentioned Mike.
02:15 How much do you miss those guys out there
02:16 on the defensive end?
02:18 - Yeah, I think all those guys
02:21 bring something to the game for sure.
02:24 That's why they're heavy rotation guys for us.
02:27 When they're not playing, obviously we miss them.
02:29 We just gotta figure out how to fill in the blanks
02:34 when those guys are missing.
02:36 But I think we're getting better at that,
02:38 and we're heading in the right direction.
02:40 - Andrew Schleicht of The Athletic.
02:42 You've been on a tear since the ulcer break,
02:44 since you came back from injury.
02:46 Do you feel the progress that you've made on the court
02:48 with maybe the stuff that you're seeing
02:51 or the shots that you're getting right now?
02:54 - I feel comfortable.
02:55 I feel like I'm in a good rhythm.
02:57 It's a great feeling, obviously.
03:01 Yeah, I'm just trying to stay level-headed.
03:04 Same approach every night.
03:07 No ups and downs, just stay level-headed,
03:11 do the good games and bad.
03:13 - And that's your poise within the game,
03:16 but a lot of stars who have the usage like you do
03:19 talk a lot to the officials,
03:21 like in between possessions and stuff like that.
03:24 That's not something that I see you do ever.
03:27 What do you credit that, I guess,
03:30 maybe it's stokeness or maturity to,
03:33 what do you credit that to?
03:34 - I just feel like as an official, you can't be perfect.
03:41 And every player wants every official to be perfect.
03:43 I guess I kind of understand that.
03:46 They're gonna miss calls,
03:47 just like we turn over to basketball, make mistakes.
03:51 And I get plenty of foul calls, so I'm good.
03:53 (laughing)
03:55 -Anybody else? -No. -Sure.
